유아 교사의 인권감수성이 권리존중보육 실행에 미치는 영향: 유아권리존중인식의 매개 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 교사의 인권감수성, 유아권리인식 및 권리존중보육 실행 간의 관계를 살펴보고 인권감수성이 권리존중보육 실행에 미치는 영향에서 유아권리인식의 매개 효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울시와 경기도 소재의 유치원 및 어린이집에 근무하는 교사 138명을 대상으로 하였다. ‘인권감수성 지표’, ‘아동권리인식’, ‘영유아 권리존중 보육의 실행 수준 척도’를 사용하여 연구자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 Pearson 적률 상관과 단계적 중다회귀분석. Hayes(2013)가 제안한 PROCESS macro 분석을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 유아 교사의 인권감수성, 유아권리인식 및 권리존중보육 실행 간의 유의한 정적상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 유아 교사의 권리존중보육 실행에 유아권리인식의 발달권, 인권감수성의 상황지각 그리고 책임지각이 주요한 예측 변인으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 매개 효과를 검증한 결과 유아 교사의 인권감수성이 권리존중보육 실행에 미치는 영향에서 유아권리인식의 완전 매개 효과가 나타났다. 본 연구는 영유아 권리존중보육 실행을 위한 이론적 근거를 제시하는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study were to examine the relationship between early childhood teachers" human rights sensitivity, early childhood rights awareness, and respect for rights childcare practice and to examine the mediating effect of early childhood rights awareness on the effect of human rights sensitivity on rights respecting childcare practice. The subjects of this study were 138 teachers working in kindergartens and daycare centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Research data were collected using the ‘Human Rights Sensitivity Index,’ ‘Children’s Rights Awareness,’ and ‘Execution Level Scale of Child Care Respect for Infant Rights.’ The collected data were analyzed by Pearson‘s correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The analysis was performed using the PROCESS macro analysis proposed by Hayes (2013). As a result of the study, there was a significant positive correlation between the human rights sensitivity of early childhood teachers, the awareness of children"s rights, and the implementation of childcare that respects rights. Second, the developmental right of awareness of children"s rights, situational awareness of human rights sensitivity, and perception of responsibility were found to be major predictors in early childhood teachers" implementation of respect for rights. Finally, as a result of examining the mediating effect, the complete mediating effect of the awareness of children"s rights was found in the effect of early childhood teachers" human rights sensitivity on the implementation of childcare that respects rights. This study is significant in presenting the theoretical basis for the implementation of childcare that respects the rights of young children.
