유아교사의 성장마인드셋과 유아교육기관의 협동적 조직문화가 유아교사의 직무열의에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 성장마인드셋과 유아교육기관의 협동적 조직문화가 유아교사의 직무열의에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 강원도와 경기도에 근무하고 있는 유아교사 453명을 대상으로 설문을 통하여 자료 수집하여, 평균과 표준편차의 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아교사의 성장마인드셋, 유아교육기관의 협동적 조직문화, 유아교사의 직무열의는 중간보다 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 성장마인드셋과 유아교사의 직무열의, 유아교육기관의 협동적 조직문화와 유아교사의 직무열의 간에 정적인 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 유아교사의 직무열의에 대한 유아교사의 성장마인드셋과 유아교육기관의 협동적 조직문화의 상대적 영향력을 알아본 결과, 전체 34%의 설명력이 나타났고, 이중 유아교사의 성장마인드셋이 23% 설명하며, 여기에 유아교육기관의 협동적 조직문화가 첨가됨으로 11%의 설명력이 증가하는 것으로 나타나, 유아교사의 직무열의에 대해 유아교사의 성장마인드셋, 유아교육기관의 협동적 조직문화 순으로 설명력을 가진 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out how the growth mindset of early childhood teachers and the cooperative organizational culture of early childhood education institutions affect the job engagement of early childhood teachers. Data were collected through surveys of 453 early childhood teachers working in the Gangwon province and Gyeonggi Province through questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used in examining the research questions. The findings are summarized as follows. First, the growth mindset of early childhood teachers, the cooperative organizational culture, and the job engagement of early childhood teachers were slightly higher than the middle. Second, significant positive correlations were found among the growth mindset of early childhood teachers, the cooperative organizational culture of early childhood education institutions and the job engagement of early childhood teachers. Third, the growth mindset of early childhood teachers and the cooperative organizational culture proved to be predictive variables for the job engagement of early childhood teachers. In particular, the growth mindset of early childhood teachers was found to be a more influential variables compared to collaborative organizational culture on their job engagement of early childhood teachers.
