만 5세 유아의 영아기 보육경험에 따른 기질, 애착 안정성, 문제행동의 차이와 관계에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 만 5세 유아의 문제행동이 영아기 보육경험에 따른 차이가 있는지 살펴보고, 영아기 보육경험에 따라 영아 기질, 애착 안정성과 만 5세 유아의 문제행동의 관계를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 1, 2, 3, 6차년도 데이터에서 추출된 95명의 응답을 토대로 카이제곱검증, 독립적 t검증, 상관관계 분석을 실시했다. 연구결과, 영아기 보육경험 유, 무에 따른 만 5세 유아의 문제행동은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 영아기 기질과 달리, 애착 안정성이 높을수록 만 5세 유아의 내재화 문제행동 중 정서적 반응성이 낮고, 영아기 부정적 정서가 높을수록 만 5세 유아의 수면 문제가 높았다. 특히, 영아기 어린이집에서 보육경험 유, 무에 따라 영아 기질과 애착 안정성은 이후 유아기에 발현되는 문제행동과 정적 혹은 부적 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 영아 시기의 기질, 애착 안정성, 영아기 보육경험 유, 무는 이후 만 5세 유아의 문제행동을 예측하는 변인으로 그 중요성에 대한 함의를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study examined whether there are differences in problem behaviors in 5-year-old children depending on their childcare experience in infancy and the relationship between infant temperament, attachment security, and problem behaviors in 5-year-old children according to childcare experience in infancy. The research utilized data from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th waves of the Korean Children Panel Study, with a sample size of 95 respondents. Then, the chi-square test, independent t-test, and correlation analyses were performed. As a result of this study, there was no statistically significant difference in the problem behaviors of 5-year-old children depending on whether they had childcare experience in infancy. Unlike temperament in infancy, the higher the attachment security was, the lower the emotional reactivity among internalizing problem behaviors in 5-year-old children, and the higher the negative emotions in infancy were, the higher the sleep problems in 5-year-old children were. In particular, it was confirmed that infant temperament and attachment stability have a positive or negative correlation with problem behavior that appears in infancy, depending on whether the infant has had childcare experience at a daycare center. Based on the results of this study, we aim to provide implications on the importance of temperament, attachment stability, and childcare experience during infancy as variables that predict problem behaviors in 5-year-old children.
