한국어 예비 교사의 문법 수업 설계에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석

국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 한국어 교사 교육을 위한 기초 연구로서 한국어 예비 교사가 작성한 ‘-기 때문에’ 문법 수업 계획서를 분석하여 수업 설계에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하고, 이를 토대로 교육적 시사점을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법: 근거이론에 기반하여 한국어 예비 교사가 작성한 23편의 ‘-기 때문에’ 수업계획서를 분석하였다. 1차 코딩을 통해 수업 설계의 양상을 도출하고, 2차 코딩에서 이들을 수업 설계에 미치는 요인으로 범주화하였으며, 3차 코딩을 통해 도출된 요인들을 기존 PCK이론과 연계하여 이론화하였다. 결과: 문법 수업 설계 시 가상의 학습자와 교실을 상정한 채 이루어지는 탈맥락화된 수업 설계 환경으로 인해, 교육 맥락에 대한 이해가 수업 설계에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 교수 경험이 부족한 예비 교사들은 표준적인 교수-학습 모형과 교육 내용의 측면에서 집단적 PCK에 영향을 받았다. 그리고 ‘-기 때문에’라는 문법의 내재적 특성이 유사 문법과 구분되는 전형적인 사용 맥락과 문법 사용 경험 제시의 측면에서 차별화된 수업을 계획하는 데 독립적인 영향 요인으로 도출되었다. 결론: 한국어 예비 교사 교육에서는 구체적인 교수·학습 맥락의 설정, 집단적 PCK의 비판적 수용, 목표 문법의 특수성을 반영한 수업 계획 능력을 함양할 수 있는 교육 방안이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Purpose: As a foundational study in Korean teacher education, this study aims to explore the factors influencing instructional design through the analysis of ‘-gi ddaemune’ grammar lesson plans developed by pre-service Korean teachers. Based on the findings, it proposes pedagogical implications. Methods: Employing grounded theory, this study analyzes 23 ‘-gi ddaemune’ lesson plans developed by pre-service Korean teachers. Through primary coding, key aspects of instructional design were identified and categorized into factors during secondary coding. These factors were then theorized in relation to Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) theory through tertiary coding. Results: The study found that the decontextualized environment influenced pre-service teachers’ instructional design through their conceptualization of hypothetical learning contexts. Additionally, pre-service teachers with limited teaching experience relied heavily on collective PCK for instructional models and content selection. Furthermore, the inherent characteristics of ‘-gi ddaemune’ emerged as a factor influencing differentiated instructional design, particularly in presenting distinctive usage contexts that separate it from similar grammatical items. Conclusion: This study suggests that Korean pre-service teacher education should emphasize critical acceptance of collective PCK, consideration of specific teaching contexts, and instructional design that reflects the differentiated nature of target grammar.
