국문 초록

학교교사는 금융자본주의의 출현으로 말미암아 스스로 금융이해력(금융 지식, 금융 기능 및 행위, 금융 태도)을 신장해야 하는 시대에 직면하고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 질적 사례연구를 통하여 MZ세대 교사들의 자산관리와 투자경험을 조명하고 이해하는 데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. “MZ세대 교사들은 어떠한 방식으로 자신의 자산을 관리하며 투자생활을 하였는가?” 연구결과를 간략하게 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, MZ세대 교사들은 안정적인 소득과 저축을 바탕으로 금융자산을 알뜰하게 관리하였다. 둘째, MZ세대 교사들은 부모의 도움과 자립으로 현재의 삶을 가꾸면서 노후 삶을 준비하였다. 셋째, MZ세대 교사들은 금융이해력을 바탕으로 투자의 대상과 방법을 점차적으로 확장하였다. 넷째, MZ세대 교사들은 직접적인 자산관리와 투자생활을 통해 학교기반 금융교육을 위한 전문성을 신장하였다. 이 연구는 질적 사례연구를 통해 MZ세대 교사들의 자산관리와 투자경험을 세밀하게 조명함으로써 자산관리와 투자생활의 실태와 특징을 파악하고, MZ세대 교사의 금융이해력을 신장하기 위한 교육적 방안을 마련하는 데 기초자료가 될 것이다. 또한, 이 연구의 결과는 MZ세대 교사가 재무적 안녕을 달성하고 투자생활을 하는 데 필요한 실천적 지식과 교육적 통찰을 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

School teachers are facing an era where they must improve their own financial literacy(financial knowledge, financial skills, and financial attitudes) due to the emergence of financial capitalism. The purpose of this paper is to shed light on and understand the asset management and investment experiences of MZ generation teachers through qualitative case study, focusing on insiders’ perspective. The research questions to achieve this research purpose are as follows: “How do MZ generation teachers manage their assets and lead investment lives?” The research results can be briefly presented as follows. Firstly, MZ generation teachers managed their financial assets carefully based on stable income and savings. Secondly, MZ generation teachers were preparing for their retirement while cultivating their current lives with the help of their parents and independence. Thirdly, MZ generation teachers gradually expanded the target and method of investment based on their financial literacy. Fourthly, MZ generation teachers improved their expertise for school-based financial education through direct asset management and investment life. This paper will provide basic data for understanding the reality and characteristics of MZ generation teachers’ investment life by closely examining their vivid investment experiences through qualitative case study, and for establishing educational methods to enhance MZ generation teachers’ financial literacy. In addition, the results of this paper will provide MZ generation teachers with the practical knowledge and educational insight necessary for a wise investment life to achieve financial well-being.
