학교와 마을 연계 교육의 실천 과정에 대한 질적 이해 - 부산 지역의 반송중학교를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 다행복학교가 지역 교육 격차 해소를 위해 마을과 연계하는 교육 실천의 과정을 이해하고자 한다. 부산 지역의 다행복학교는 지역별 교육 격차를 해소하고자 추진되었지만, 이를 위한 학교의 변화를 경험적으로 살펴본 연구가 부족하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 질적 사례 연구 방법을 활용하여 지역 격차 해소를 위한 반송중학교의 노력을 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 지역 교육 격차 해소를 위해 반송중학교와 반송마을이 협력하고 있었다. 반송중학교는 지역 혐오감을 가진 교사가 반송마을 속에서 지역에 대한 자긍심을 갖게 되면서 마을알기, 마을프로젝트 등 마을 연계 교육을 운영했다. 또한 반송중학교는 마을과 협력하는 마을교육네트워크를 통해 학교와 마을을 연결성을 강화하는 방법으로 학교와 마을을 사랑하는 학생들을 키우고자 했다. 이 사례를 통해 학교의 변화는 교사의 내적인 내러티브의 변화에 기초하며, 학교 밖 마을환경 및 문화에 영향을 받으므로 학교와 학생, 지역주민의 삶을 연결하는 교육이 요구됨을 논의했다. 마지막으로 학교와 마을을 연결하는 교사와 학교장의 전문성을 강화하는 방안 등 여러 가지를 제안했다.

영문 초록

This study aims to understand the process of Bansong Middle School’s educational practices that link with the local-community to resolve the regional education gap. The Dahaengbok School in Busan was promoted to resolve the regional education gap, but there is a lack of research that empirically examines the changes in the school for this purpose. Therefore, this study examined Bansong Middle School’s efforts to resolve the regional gap by utilizing a qualitative case study method. The results of the study showed that Bansong Middle School and Bansong community were cooperating to resolve the regional education gap. Bansong Middle School operated community-linked education such as community knowledge and community projects as teachers with regional aversion developed pride in the community. In addition, Bansong Middle School attempted to foster students who love the school and the community by strengthening the connection between the school and the community through a community education network that cooperates with the community. Through this case, it was discussed that the change in the school is based on the change in the teacher’s internal narrative and is influenced by the community environment and culture outside the school, so education that connects the lives of the school, students, and local residents is required. Finally, it suggested several measures such as strengthening the professionalism of teachers and principals who link the school and the community.
