직무 스트레스가 심리적 소진에 미치는 국가 간 동질적 영향: 한·중 유아 교사를 대상으로 한 실증 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국과 중국의 유아 교사를 대상으로 직무 스트레스가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 그 영향이 국가 간 동질적으로 나타나는지를 실증적으로 검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국의 정규직 유아 교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 492부의 설문지를 수집하였으며, 이 중 부적절한 응답 44부를 제외한 448부를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 최종 분석에 사용된 설문지는 한국 교사 223부(49.8%), 중국 교사 225부(50.2%)로, 국가별로 균형 있게 표본이 구성되었다. 연구가설 검증을 위해 SPSS 26.0으로 단순회귀분석과 집단별 회귀분석을 실시하고, Process v4.1로 조절 효과 분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 유아 교사의 직무 스트레스는 심리적 소진에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 직무 스트레스 수준이 높을수록 심리적 소진 수준도 높아지는 경향이 확인되었다. 또한, 직무 스트레스가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향은 한국과 중국 유아 교사들 사이에서 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론적으로, 본 연구는 유아 교사의 직무 스트레스가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향이 국가 간 차이 없이 동질적으로 나타남을 실증적으로 확인하였다. 이는 국가 간 문화적·제도적 차이보다 유아 교사라는 직업 자체의 특성이 심리적 소진을 결정하는 중요한 요인임을 시사한다. 따라서 유아 교사의 직무 스트레스 관리 및 심리적 소진 예방을 위한 전략은 국가별 차이를 고려하기보다는, 직업의 특성을 반영한 포괄적인 접근이 필요하다. 본 연구는 유아 교사의 근무 환경 개선 및 정신 건강 증진을 위한 실천적 시사점을 제공하며, 향후 연구에서는 보다 구체적인 개입 방안을 탐색할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the impact of job stress on psychological burnout among early childhood teachers in South Korea and China and to empirically examine whether this impact is homogenous across the two countries. A survey was administered to full-time early childhood teachers in South Korea and China. Out of a total of 492 collected responses, 448 were retained for the final analysis after excluding 44 responses deemed invalid. The final dataset comprised 223 responses from Korean teachers (49.8%) and 225 from Chinese teachers (50.2%), ensuring a balanced representation across the two national groups. To test the research hypotheses, regression analysis and Grouped Regression analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0, and the moderation effect was examined using PROCESS v4.1. The findings indicate that job stress has a significant positive (+) effect on psychological burnout among early childhood teachers. In other words, higher levels of job stress are associated with higher levels of psychological burnout. Additionally, the impact of job stress on psychological burnout did not show significant differences between South Korean and Chinese early childhood teachers. This study empirically confirms that the impact of job stress on psychological burnout among early childhood teachers appears to be homogeneous across national boundaries. This suggests that the characteristics of the teaching profession itself play a more critical role in determining psychological burnout than cultural or institutional differences between countries. Therefore, strategies for managing job stress and preventing burnout among early childhood teachers should take a comprehensive approach that reflects the nature of the profession rather than focusing on national differences. This study provides practical implications for improving the working environment and promoting the mental well-being of early childhood teachers. Future research should explore more specific intervention strategies.
