국문 초록

이글은 김종삼의 시에서 드러나는 환대의 모습과 특징을 밝히는 것에 목적이있다. 김종삼은 해방과 6·25 전쟁을 거친 전후 세대의 시인으로서 현대시사의많은 난관 속에서 작품활동을 했다. 30여 년간 활동한 그의 작품 속에는 전쟁과가난이 이웃이었다. 본고는 낯선 이의 고통에 귀 기울여 공감하고 언어와 몸짓으로 표현하는 김종삼 시의 시적 주체의 모습을 입체적으로 부각하고자 했다. 김종삼 시에서 드러나는 환대의 양상을 밝히기 위해 병치의 기법에 주목했다. 대조되는 두 사물에 대한 수용적이고 초월적인 시각이 상호관계성을 획득하여 유대의 차원으로 존재를 확장하는 김종삼의 환대의 방식을 조명했다. 낯섦과 마주섬의 양상, 궁핍한 시대의 환대의 방식을 톺아보았다. 그의 시에서 발현하는 환대의 양상을 조명하는 일은 평화로운 세상을 추구하는 김종삼의 시적 지향점에 근접하는 일이다. 낯선 존재의 수용과 공존이라는 김종삼 시의 자장을 펼쳐 보이는일은 환대의 공적 기능을 선취한 문학적 제시와 영향력을 공유하는 작업이다.

영문 초록

This article aims to shed light on the aspects and characteristics of hospitality revealed in Kim Jong-sam’s poetry. Kim Jong-sam was a poet of the postwar generation who experienced the liberation and the Korean War, and he worked on his works amidst many difficulties in modern poetry. In his works spanning over 30 years, war and poverty were his neighbors. This paper attempted to highlight the aspects of the poetic subject who listened to and sympathized with the suffering of strangers and expressed it through language and gestures. In order to shed light on the aspects of hospitality revealed in Kim Jong-sam’s poetry, we focused on the technique of juxtaposition. We illuminated Kim Jong-sam’s method of hospitality, in which the receptive and transcendental perspectives on two contrasting objects acquire mutual relationships and expand existence to the level of solidarity. We examined the aspects of unfamiliarity and encounter, and the methods of hospitality in times of poverty. Looking at the aspects of hospitality expressed in his poetry is to get closer to Kim Jong-sam’s poetic aspiration to pursue a peaceful world. The work of unfolding the magnetic field of Kim Jong-sam’s poetry, which is about accepting and coexisting with strangers, is a work that shares the literary presentation and influence that preempts the public function of hospitality.
