발달지체유아 아버지의 양육스트레스와 대처방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 발달지체 유아 아버지가 겪고 있는 양육스트레스와 아버지의 스트레스 대처방안을 알아봄으로써 발달지체 유아 아버지의 양육스트레스를 효과적으로 감소시킬 수 있는 부모교육 프로그램 개발 및 부모 상담에 필요한 자료를 제공하고자 하는 것이었다. 이를 위하여 서울, 경기도, 인천 지역에 있는 유아특수학교, 장애인복지관 조기교육실과 치료실에서 교육 및 치료를 받고 있는 3세에서 7세까지 취학 전 발달지체 유아의 아버지 145명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 발달지체 유아 아버지의 연령에 따른 집단간의 차이는 없었으며, 고학력의 경우 양육스트레스가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 장애유형에 따라 아버지의 전체 양육스트레스에는 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 아버지의 연령에 따른 스트레스 대처방안에는 차이가 없었다. 학력에 따른 스트레스 대처방안에는 ‘자기비판’, 종교유무에 따른 대처방안에는 ‘종교적 지원추구’요인에서 차이가 났다. 넷째, 유아의 연령에 따라 3-5세의 아버지는 ‘종교적 지원추구’를 많이 사용하였으며, 성별에 따라 유아의 아버지는 ‘고립’을 많이 사용하고 있었다. 이와 같은 결과는 부모교육프로그램의 내용에 있어 아동중심의 정보전달에서 벗어나 부모자신의 역량을 기르며 가족중심의 형태로 확장시킬 수 있는 방안이 필요하다는 시사점을 제공해준다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develope programs for parents training and provide information for parents counselling and also find out what difficulties fathers have for parenting and how to cope with them. The questionnaire was given to 145subjects who are the father of infants between the age of 3years and 7years old, have education in special kindergarten, early educational center in disability welfare center, and developmental center in Seoul, Kyoung gi providence and Incheon. The results are as follows. First. There are no differences between two groups according to father's age, higher education father show higher stress. Second, the parenting stress show differences according to disability type. Third, There are no differences on the coping strategies according to fathers age. There are differences on the self-criticism stress for coping strategies according to academic background, and also “religious support” for coping strategies according to religious variables. Finally, “religious support” ere used a lot by the fathers of infants between the age of 3years old and 5years old and “isolation” sre used a lot by the fathers of infants . The above findings indicate that the programs' contents for parents need to focus on family centered and find ways can be strengthen parents ability instead of giving information for their children.
