국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중학교 특수학급에서의 교육 평가에 대한 실태를 알아보고 교육평가에 대한 교사들의 태도 및 인식을 조사하는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 영남지방의 중학교 특수학급 교사 167명이 본 조사에 참여하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 일부 중학교 특수학급 교사들은 평가 방법을 정확히 잘 인지하지 못하고 있어서 학생들의 교육 평가를 제대로 실행하지 않는다고 반응하였다. 또 대부분의 교사들은 교육 평가가 적절한 교육 활동이라고 생각은 하고 있지만 교육 평가 체제의 미비함과 다양한 교육 평가 방법의 부재를 이유로 소극적인 평가 활동을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 국가 수준에서 다양한 평가방법 및 평가지침을 마련하고 나아가 교육 평가 활동에 대한 전반적이고 구체적인 체제를 구축하여 중학교 특수학급 교사들이 장애학생의 교육 평가를 원활히 실행할 수 있도록 해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study is to examine the current situation about the academic achievement tests of exceptional students in middle school and special education teachers' perception according to teachers' background(their class career and the number of exceptional students they teach). 167 special education teachers in middle schools through Yeungnam area participated in this survey. The data was analyzed by computing frequency and percentage or mean and standard deviation. Crosstabulation Analysis and verification were used in order to verify the difference according to teachers' background. The result of this study are summarized as follows: First, some of special education teachers don't evaluate exceptional students' academic achievement, because they don't know the proper method to evaluate. Exceptional students are mainly taught and evaluated Korean, math, transitional and communicational area. The most used evaluation method is observation. Secondly, most of special education teachers think that the evaluation is very effective activity but they don't do that positively. Thirdly, Special education teachers think that the mainly needed evaluation area are Korean, math, sociability, communicational and transitional ability. Teachers recognize that the most two difficult things in evaluation are that there's not an official evaluation system and various evaluation methods. In order to solve these problems, it's essential to develop the various evaluation methods and the proper evaluation system. In conclusion, this study suggests as follows: 1. There should be the proper evaluation system and various evaluation methods for exceptional students in middle school. 2. There should be the official evaluation report forms for anyone to be able to recognize students' academic progress easily.
