평균대 운동 프로그램이 청각장애학생의 균형능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 평균대 운동 프로그램이 청각장애학생의 균형 능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 청각장애 특수학교에 재학 중인 12명의 학생이었다. 연구방법은 운동 전, 4주 동안 ‘앞 균형 잡기’, ‘한 다리 서기’, ‘앞으로 걷기’, ‘뒤로 걷기’, ‘엇걸어 걷기’ 등의 평균대 운동 후에 10개의 활동으로 구성된 균형 검사를 이용하여 균형 능력을 측정하였다. 독립 표본 T 검정을 이용하여 운동 전·후의 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과에서 청각장애학생의 균형 능력이 향상되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 평균대 운동을 청각장애학생의 균형 능력을 향상시키기 위한 운동 프로그램으로 실시할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the balance beam exercise program on balance proficiency of the children with hearing deficits. Twelve subjects were recruited with only auditory deficit attending special education school for the hearing deficits. Before and after the four weeks exercises, ‘forward balancing', 'single leg standing', ’forward walking', 'backward walking', and 'side cross walking' activities on a balance beam, balance proficiency was tested with 10 activities, eight balance subtests of Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency and two balance related activities chosen by researches. There were significantly statistical differences in some tasks, ‘Standing on Preferred Leg on Floor’, ‘Standing on Preferred Leg on Balance Beam’, ‘Jumping in a Circle' after the four weeks exercises on balance(p<0.05). From the results, we could say that activities on a balance beam influenced on improving balance proficiency of children with hearing deficits. We believe that this study will help to develop programs for children with hearing deficits in special school education.
