특수교육과정 국어과에 기반한 그림책 읽기 및 놀이 연계 프로그램의 효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 초등부 저학년 장애아동을 대상으로 국어 교육과정을 기반으로 그림책 읽기 및 놀이 프로그램을 구성하여 장애아동의 의사표현력과 사회성 기술에 미치는 영향을 밝히고자 하였다. 본 연구에 참여한 아동은 18명이며, 이들을 실험집단과 비교집단 각 9명씩 배치하였다. 실험집단에는 국어와 재량 수업을 이용하여 그림책 읽기 및 놀이 연계 프로그램을 적용하였으며, 비교집단에는 일반적인 주제만 일치 시킨 국어 수업 및 재량 수업의 놀이 활동을 적용하였다. 연구 결과 실험집단 장애아동의 의사표현력과 사회성 기술이 비교집단 장애아동 보다 더 높게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 그림책 읽기 및 놀이 연계 프로그램에 대한 논의 및 미래 연구를 위해 제언하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The Purpose of this study was to examine the effects of play programs through picturebook readalouds on expressive communication skills and social skills of children with disabilities at public special schools and special classrooms. Eighteen children with disabilities and 6 special education teachers participated in this study and were assigned into both experimental and comparative groups(9 children and 3 teachers in each group). For the experimental group, play programs through picturebook readalouds were applied to children with disabilities in the discretion classes and korean language classes. In terms of a comparative group, the only play programs were used like those of the experimental group. As a result of the comparison of two groups, this study revealed that the play programs through picturebook readalouds were effective in increasing expressive communication skills and social skills of children with disabilities. This study strengthens the theory of play program with picturebook readalouds by proving its effects through developing and applying picturebook readalouds to the special schools and special classrooms of the elementary school.
