국문 초록

장애학생의 중학교로의 전이기 지원의 중요성과 효율적인 실제를 제공하고자 특수학급교사의 인식을 분석하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 중학교 특수학급으로 전이된 장애학생 44명을 담당한 초등 6학년과 중학교 특수학급교사에게서 응답받은 설문지를 특수학급교사의 소지자격과 교육경력, 연수유무와 장애학생의 장애유형과 장애정도의 배경변인에 따라 전이기 지원의 하위요인인 계획/ 실행 및 협력/ 교육과정/ 평가 요인별로 분석하였다. 실태와 인식에 대한 결과는 학교급간의 연계가 잘 이루어지지 않으며, 교사들은 협력의 실제에 대해 연수받기를 원했다. 또한 전이기 지원에 대한 교사의 인식은 중요도와 실행도에 있어서 배경변인에 따라 하위요인별과, 중요도와 실행도에서, 학교급간에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이로써 장애학생의 중학교로의 전이기 지원의 최상의 실제를 위하여 실행도를 높일 수 있는 체제와 기회를 마련해야겠다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to make a foundation that can give disabled students a successful transition from elementary school to middle school. The research questions are as follows: 'How is the actual condition and perception of transition support for its period?' and 'How is the perception of level of importance and performance between elementary's and middle school's special class teachers?' For this purpose, the questionnaire was sent to both the disabled students previous elementary school special education teachers and current middle schools. The findings of this study are ; (1) Teachers know that their cooperation and interaction is most important for transition support and having knowledge of curriculums targeted for special classes. (2) Teachers are aware of the importance of transition support but they are weak in practicing. Differences showed in the subcomponents, levels of importance and practice; total teaching experiences, special teaching experiences, existence of training, the type and degree of a student's disability. (3) Elementary school or middle school special class teacher's awareness of the level of importance and practice about transition support shows significant differences in every subcomponent. Therefore, so as to help the transition for students with disabilities, we need to offer concrete training ; practice, cooperation, suitability to teaching method, and understand the target curriculum etc.
