국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 긍정적 행동지원이 정신지체 학생의 학교 내 수업시간에 발생하는 자리이탈 행동 및 과제수행 행동에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지와 함께 중재 종료 후에도 유지가 되는가를 알아보는데 있다. 실험은 초등학교 특수학급에 재학 중인 정신지체 남학생 1명을 선정하여 상황간 중다 기초선 설계(multiple baseline across settings)로 진행 하였으며, 기초선, 중재, 유지 순으로 실시하였다. 문제 행동을 나타내는 정신지체 학생에게 행동에 대한 기능적 평가를 실시하고 배경사건 중재, 선행 사건 중재, 대체 행동 교수 중재와 후속사건 중재를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 기능평가를 통한 긍정적 행동지원이 대상 학생의 자리이탈 행동을 감소시키고 과제 수행 행동을 향상시키는데 효과가 있었으며, 중재가 종료된 후에도 유지되는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

A multiple baseline, single-subject design across settings was used to assess the effects of implementing positive behavior support to decrease the out-of-seat behavior and increase task performance of an thirteen year-old boy with mental retardation during classroom activities. The conditions in the design were implemented A-B-C. The first condition was A = baseline, second was B=intervention and the last condition C = maintenance. For establish the appropriate intervention, functional behavioral analysis was implemented. Results indicated that the positive behavior support decrease the target student's out-of-seat behavior and increase the task performance during the classroom activities. Moreover, short-term maintenance data pointed out that the child was retaining low occurrences of out-of-seat behavior and maintained the task performance up to two weeks later.
