인공와우 사용 청각장애 아동의 생성이름대기 특성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 7~9세의 인공와우 사용 청각장애 아동의 생성이름대기 특성을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 9명의 인공와우 사용 청각장애 집단을 선정하여 이들과 생활연령이 일치하는 집단과 언어연령이 일치하는 집단를 구성하여 의미범주 및 음소범주 생성이름대기 검사를 실시하였다. 검사는 의미범주 과제(‘동물’, ‘가게에서 살 수 있는 물건’)와 음소범주 과제(/ㄱ/. /ㅅ/)를 실시하여 각 집단별로 평균 산출 낱말 수, 군집 수, 군집크기 및 전환 수를 산출하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 의미범주에서는 ‘동물’ 이름대기에서 산출낱말 수와 전환수가 생활연령 일치 집단과 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 음소범주에서는 /ㄱ/, /ㅅ/ 모두 산출 낱말 수, 군집 수 및 전환 수에서 생활연령 일치 집단과 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 모든 집단에서 의미범주와 음소범주 사이에는 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 생성이름대기에서 인공와우 사용 청각장애 집단은 생활연령이 일치하는 또래 집단과 부분적으로 비슷한 수준을 가졌다고 할 수 있으나 낱말을 산출할 때 사용하는 전략에는 차이가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to investigate the characteristics of generative naming through the number, clusters and switching of words in deaf children with cochlear implantation(CI). Subjects were 9 deaf children with CI between 7 and 9(mean CA: 8;2, mean LA; 5:6), 9 hearing children matched chronological age with them, 9 hearing children matched linguistic age with them. The experiment was carried out with mean ('animal' and things which can be bought at thr store') and phoneme(/k/, /s/) categories selected for the generative naming test. The produced words were analyzed according to the mean number of word, the number of clusters, the cluster size and the number of switching. The results was; First, there were not significant differences in the number of words and switching for meaning category('animals') between the deaf children with CI group and the same chronological age group. Second, there were not significant differences in the number of words, cluster and switching for all phoneme categories between the deaf children with CI group and the same chronological age group. Lastly, it was found that number of words for the mean category were more than for phoneme one within each of the all groups. Aa a results, it was found that deaf children with CI show partly similar performance to normal hearing children with the same chronological age for generative naming. But there were significant differences between deaf children with CI and normal hearing children in word production strategy for generative naming.
