증거기반 중재 구축을 위한 초등수학 중재연구의 질 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 총 55편의 초등수학 중재연구들이 과학적이고 체계적인 연구방법에 따라 수행되었는지를 질적지표를 기준으로 분석하고, 질적지표 충족도 분석결과를 통해 각 중재별 증거기반 중재의 충족수준은 어떤지를 밝히고자 했다. 본 연구의 질적지표와 증거기반 중재 충족도 분석결과, 총 38편의 일반교육 연구의 경우 총 8개의 질적지표 중 3개를 제외한 5개의 질적지표를 충족하는 연구의 수가 매우 적었고, 이에 높은 수준의 증거기반 중재를 찾기는 어려웠지만, 인지·메타인지전략 중재가 보통 수준의 증거기반 중재인 것으로 나타났다. 총 17편의 특수교육 연구 중 6편의 (준)집단설계연구의 경우 총 10개의 질적지표 중 3개를 제외한 나머지 7개의 질적지표를 충족하는 연구의 수가 매우 적었고, 11편의 단일대상연구의 경우도 총 20개의 질적지표 중 13개를 제외한 나머지 7개의 질적지표를 충족하는 연구의 수가 매우 적었다. 따라서 특수교육 연구 중 증거기반 중재를 찾기는 어려웠다. 질적지표와 증거기반 중재 기준에 대한 논의점과 본 연구의 결과에 대한 시사점이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed a total of 55 elementary mathematics intervention studies based on the quality indicators in order to identify the evidence-based intervention which is effective for improving the mathematics performance of elementary-school students. The results of this study showed that most of the 38 studies in general education failed to meet 5 of 8 quality indicators. Therefore, it was difficult to find a high-level evidence-based intervention. However, cognitive and meta-cognitive intervention was identified as a medium-level evidence-based intervention. Also, most of the 6 experimental and quasi-experimental studies in special education failed to meet 7 of 10 quality indicators and most of the 11 single-subject design studies in special education failed to meet 7 of 20 quality indicators. Therefore, it was hard to identify an evidence-based intervention. Several issues regarding the quality indicators and criteria for evidence-based intervention are presented. Also, the results of this study were discussed.
