교사와 시각장애유아 관계에 따른 놀이성과 사회성 발달 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사-유아의 관계에 따라 시각장애유아의 놀이성과 사회성이 어떻게 달라지는지 알아보기 위해 전국에 있는 시각장애학교 12개교의 유치원 교사 19명을 대상으로 담임을 하고 있는 50명의 시각장애유아에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 시각장애유아는 교사와 관계가 친밀할수록 자발적이고 즐겁게 놀이에 참여하며, 교사와 시각장애유아가 갈등이 적을수록 사회적 활동에 적극적이며 사회에 대한 적응성이 높다고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 교사-유아 관계와 유아의 놀이성, 유아의 사회성 발달에 있어서 시각장애유아가 중복장애를 가진 경우보다 맹과 저시력의 경우에 교사와 좋은 관계를 유지하며, 높은 놀이성을 보이고, 사회성 발달 정도도 높다고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 교사-유아 관계 수준이 높을수록 맹의 경우에는 사회적응성이, 중복장애의 경우에는 표현성이 가장 높은 영향력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 교사-유아간의 긍정적인 관계의 필요성과 놀이성 사회성간의 관계에 관하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, it was investigated how the relationship between teachers and blind infants would influence their playfulness and social development. For this research, a questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 19 kindergarten homeroom teachers from 12 visually impaired schools nationwide. They answered the questionnaires about their visually impaired students, the total of 50. The results of this study include the following. First, the more intimate the relationship between teachers and visually impaired infants are, the more spontaneously and joyfully visually impaired infants participate in fun and play. And, as the conflict between them is less, blind infants are more active in social activities and show higher social adaptability. Second, it can be said that low vision and blind infants maintain better relationship with their teachers and prefer play and develop higher social adaptability than infants of multiple disabilities. Third, relationship between teachers and visually impaired infants has more influence on development of social adaptability in the case of low vision and blind infants. On the other hand, it is more correlated with development of expressiveness in the case of infants of multiple disabilities. Based on the results, we discussed the necessity of a good relationship between teachers and visually impaired infants, and the correlation between their relationship and playfulness and social adaptability.
