자기점검중재가 정신지체학생 학생의 정보검색 수행과 성취도에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 학습자 스스로 능동적이고 독립적인 학습과정을 전개해 나가며 학습능력이 향상되는 전략으로 주목 받고 있는 자기점검중재를 정신지체학생에게 적용하고 효과를 알아보기 위해 수행하였다. 연구 대상자는 경기도에 거주하고 있는 S중학교 특수학급 1～2학년에 재학 중인 정신지체학생 3명으로 웹정보검색 훈련을 통한 자기점검중재를 중다간헐기초선설계에 의해 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 자기점검중재에 의해 정보 검색 수행 능력이 향상되었다. 둘째, 자기점검 중재에 의해 정보검색 성취도가 향상되었다. 이를 근거로 자기점검일지를 활용한 자기점검중재를 정보검색 기술 교수과정에 활용한다면 정신지체학생 학생의 정보검색 수행에 긍정적인 변화를 제공함은 물론, 정신지체학생의 자기주도적인 정보검색 성취 수준을 향상시키는 대안이 될 수 있음을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The objective of this research is to verify the effectiveness of self-monitoring on performance and achievement for students with mental retardation. In order to investigate on the objective suggested, the author used multiple probe design, and the result obtained is stated as follows. First, when the students with mental retardation were given instructions on web information searching skills, in which daily journal-based self-monitoring is included, all of the subjects of experiment showed improvement in information searching skills. Second, All students showed improvement in fulfillment and achievement, through self-monitoring. Third, even after the arbitration, the students with mental retardation maintained their increased level of performance and achievement. In summing up these results, self-monitoring not only brings positive change on information retrieval process of students with mental retardation, but also is effective in betterment of learner’s self-directed learning ability and achievement level.
