영문 초록

The poet of Huran Kim starting from 'Song for Today' in 1959 has continuously pursued humble, reverent, embracive, and positive world in the process of life publishing more than 10 books of poetry over 50 year. This could be finally summarized as achieving through authentic language about current existence of 'Today(Song for Today)'. The development of her poetic life could be understood more systemically and continuously when looking upon 'ethical existence' and 'religious existence', next step after 'aesthetic existence' of Søren Aabye Kierkegaard. Her world of poetry can be comprehended as forming enhanced ego after going through 'ethical existence' pursuing an aesthetic value and authenticity and 'religious existence' internalizing mercy and divine revelation of God. Namely, her world of poetry is simultaneously operated by self-resolution to 'live today with full love'(Song for Today) and desire toward God as self-rescue to fulfill continuously. For instance, she pursues the life where standards of earth and those of heaven attain continuity. Her world of poetry set face to the practice and internalization of peace, love and joy of heaven with humble and godly position while settling on the earth. Especially her world of poetry sings universal ego as time goes by where earth and heaven, moment and eternity paradoxically exist through vertical imagination symbolized by 'tree'. Inquire into existing depth of today her poetic life shows could be seen as contributed to make diverse and plentiful current affairs biased extremely toward socio-historical imagination. While poetry pursuing socio-historical imagination are mostly based on common necessity and logic, poetry searching current existence start from reality and value of individual life, which supplement deficiency of current affairs. Also her soft amiable, embracive feminine language could be evaluated to have esthetic value which neutralizes and refines masculine language which claims sharp clearance controling current affairs.
