국문 초록

사이버대학교의 비대면 학습 환경에서 생성형 AI 도구의 급속한 확산은 학습 효율성 향상을 가져오는 동시에, 학습 윤리와 자기주도성 약화라는 문제를 동반한다. 본 연구는 이러한 딜레마를 해소하기 위해 학습자의 AI 활용 특성을 분석하고, 국내외 대학의 AI 활용 정책 및 가이드라인을 비교하여 윤리적·자기 주도적 활용 모델을 제시한다. 사이버대학 학습자들은 에세이 작성과 토론 게시글 초안 생성에서 AI 사용 비중이 높았으며, 활용 정도에 따라 도구형·의존형·수비형 유형으로 분류되었다. 또한 국내외 주요 사례 및 대학 가이드라인을 검토한 결과, 강의계획서에 AI 허용 범위를 명확히 제시하고, 활용 사실을 투명하게 공개하며, 비판적 사고 및 AI 리터러시 교육을 강화하는 것이 핵심으로 나타났다. 이에 기반하여 학습자와 교수자를 위한 가이드라인 및 AI 윤리 확립의 필요성을 강조한다. 연구 내용을 포함하는 설문조사와 교육 활용 전략도 제안한다.

영문 초록

The rapid proliferation of generative AI tools in the remote learning environments of cyber universities has enhanced learning efficiency, yet it also presents challenges such as diminished academic integrity and weakened self-directed learning. To address this dilemma, the present study examines learners’ AI usage patterns and compares AI-related policies and guidelines from domestic and international universities in order to propose a model for ethical and autonomous use. The findings indicate that cyber university learners make extensive use of AI in essay writing and discussion board participation, and can be classified into three categories—instrumental, dependent, and defensive—based on the extent of their reliance. Furthermore, a review of major domestic and international case studies and university guidelines highlights several critical elements: explicitly defining the scope of AI use within syllabi, ensuring transparent disclosure of its application, and strengthening both critical thinking and AI literacy education. Building on these insights, the study emphasizes the necessity of establishing clear guidelines and ethical standards for both learners and instructors. Finally, it proposes the development of a survey instrument and implementation strategies that integrate these research findings.
