국문 초록

본 연구에서는 중장년 약물중독 회복당사자의 외로움에 영향을 미치는 요인을 개인요인(성별, 소득, 직업유무), 건강요인(주관적 건강상태, 주관적 스트레스, 주관적 회복수준), 사회요인(동거인 여부, 차별경험, 사회자본, 물적자본, 인적자본, 문화자본)으로 구분하여 검증하였다. 연구대상은 알코올 및 약물사용으로 인한 중독 경험이 있는 만 19세 이상 성인 중 지역사회에서 중독 관련 서비스를 1회 이상 이용한 경험이 있는 당사자를 대상으로, 2024년 10월 한 달간 온라인과 오프라인을 통해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이 중 중장년층에 해당하는 170명의 자료를 위계적 회귀분석하였다. 분석결과, 개인요인은 초기 단계에서 직업유무와 성별이 유의하였으나, 사회요인을 포함한 최종모형에서는 영향력이 없었다. 반면 건강요인 중 주관적 스트레스와 회복수준이, 사회요인 중 동거인 여부, 차별경험, 사회자본, 문화자본이 외로움에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 주관적 스트레스 관리와 주관적 회복수준 증진을 위한 통합적 프로그램, 동거인이 부재한 경우 사회적 지지체계 구축, 차별 해소를 위한 인식개선과 제도적 지원, 사회자본과 문화자본 강화를 위한 지원체계 마련에대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the factors influencing loneliness among middle-aged individuals recovering from substance addiction. Predictors were categorized into personal (gender, income, and employment status), health (subjective health status, perceived stress, and recovery level), and social factors (cohabitation status, discrimination experiences, and various forms of capital including social, material, human, and cultural). Participants were adults aged 19 years and older with a history of alcohol or drug addiction who had accessed community addiction services. Data were collected using online and offline surveys during October 2024. In total, 170 responses from middle-aged adults were analyzed using hierarchical regression. The analysis revealed that in the initial stage, employment status and gender were significant individual factors; however, in the final model, which included social factors, their effects were no longer significant. In contrast, perceived stress and recovery level (health factors), along with cohabitation status, discrimination experiences, social capital, and cultural capital (social factors), were significant predictors of loneliness. Based on these findings, this study discusses the need for comprehensive interventions focused on stress management and recovery enhancement, the establishment of social support systems for individuals without cohabitants, raising awareness and institutional support to reduce discrimination, and strategies to strengthen social and cultural capital.
