청소년기 진로성숙도 변화 주요 변인의 선택과 통계적 추론 및 변화양상 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년기의 진로성숙도 변화를 고려하는 핵심 예측변인을 도출하고, 진로성숙도의 변화 양상 및 주요 변인의 영향력을 실증적으로 분석하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널 10, 13, 16차년도 가구용, 가구원용, 아동부가조사 자료(n=310)에 종단자료의 위계적 속성을 반영할 수 있는 벌점화 회귀모형과 다층성장모형을 적용하였다. 분석 결과, 청소년 특성 변인에서는 학교성적, 심리사회적 학교환경, 학교유대감, 자아존중감, 친구 애착 및 친구의 또래 애착, 학습지도 경험, 취미/특기 관련 활동 경험이 진로성숙도 변화에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 일일 평균 TV 시청 시간 및 인터넷 과의존(일탈행동)은 진로성숙도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 변인이었다. 부모 및 가구 특성 변인에서는 아동상담/집단 프로그램 경험 여부는 진로성숙도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 데 반해, 학비지원 경험 여부 및 사회적 친분관계 만족도 변인은 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인하였다. 다음으로, 다층성장모형 분석 결과, 청소년의 진로성숙도는 시간의 흐름에 따라 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 LASSO를 통해 선택된 변인을 독립변인으로 투입하여 분석한 결과, 대부분의 변인이 LASSO 분석과 동일한 부호와 유의성을 보였으나, 우울 및 불안, 부모의 고용보험 가입 여부는 다층성장모형에서만 정적으로 유의한 변인인 것으로 추가 확인되었다. 주요 분석 결과를 바탕으로 진로성숙도 증진을 위한 교육적 방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to identify key predictors of changes in career maturity during adolescence, analyze changing patterns, and empirically test the effects of key predictors. Using the 10th, 13th, and 16th waves of the Korean Welfare Panel Study (n=310), penalized regression model and multilevel growth model were applied to account for the hierarchical structure of the longitudinal data. Results showed that academic performance, psychosocial school environment, school bonding, self-esteem, peer attachment, friends’ peer attachment, learning guidance experience, and participation in hobby or talent-related activities positively influenced career maturity, whereas average daily TV viewing time and internet overdependence (deviant behavior) had negative effects. Parents’ experience with child counseling or group programs positively influenced career maturity, while experience with tuition support and satisfaction with social acquaintances had negative effects. Multilevel growth model revealed that adolescents’ career maturity decreased over time. When variables selected by LASSO were included as predictors, most showed consistent signs and significance levels with the LASSO results; but depression and anxiety, and parents’ employment insurance enrollment emerged as additional positive factors only in the multilevel growth model. Based on these findings, educational strategies to promote career maturity among adolescents are discussed.
