키워드 네트워크 기법을 활용한 노인 우울 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

기대수명 증가로 노인 심리건강에 대한 관심이 증가하면서 노인 우울 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있으나, 체계적인 동향 분석은 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 2010년부터 2024년까지의 학술지 초록 1,346편을 키워드 네트워크 분석으로 검토하였다. Textom과 UCINET 6 프로그램을 활용해 키워드 빈도, N-gram, 연결 중심성, 매개 중심성, 그리고 CONCOR 군집 분석을 수행했다. 주요 키워드는 ‘노인’, ‘우울’, ‘사회’, ‘삶의 질’, ‘건강’, ‘자살’, ‘독거’, ‘인지’로 나타났다. N-gram 분석 결과, 노인은 사회, 자살, 인지, 건강 등과 연관되었고, 우울은 삶의 질, 사회, 자살 등과 관련되었다. 연결 중심성과 매개 중심성 분석에서는 ‘삶의’, ‘자살’, ‘건강’, ‘만족’, ‘독거’, ‘지지’ 등이 높았다. CONCOR 분석에서는 8개 군집으로 분류되어 ‘삶의 질과 존재감’, ‘신체적 변화 경험’, ‘취약성과 고립’, ‘사회적 환경 요인’ 등으로 명명되었다. 이 연구는 국내 노인 우울 연구의 흐름을 체계화하고 향후 연구 방향과 정책적 기초자료 제공에 기여할 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

With increasing life expectancy, interest in the psychological well-being of older adults has grown, leading to a rise in research on late-life depression. However, systematic analyses of research trends remain limited. This study examined 1,346 academic journal abstracts between 2010 and 2024 using keyword network analysis. Using Textom and UCINET, we analyzed keyword frequency, N-gram associations, degree centrality, betweenness centrality, and conducted CONCOR cluster analysis. The most frequent keywords included “older adults”, ‘depression’, ‘society’, ‘quality of life’, ‘health’, ‘suicide’, ‘living alone’, and ‘cognition’. N-gram analysis revealed that “older adults” frequently co-occurred with terms such as “society”, “suicide”, “cognition” and “health”, while “depression” was often linked to “quality of life”, “society” and “suicide”. In the centrality analyses, keywords such as ‘life’, ‘suicide’, ‘health’, ‘satisfaction’, ‘living alone’ and ‘support’ showed high degree and betweenness centrality. CONCOR analysis identified eight keyword clusters, which were thematically categorized as: ‘quality of life and sense of presence’, ‘experience of physical changes’, ‘vulnerability and isolation’ and ‘social environmental factors’, among others. This study contributes to the systematization of research trends on depression among older adults in South Korea and offers insights for future research and policy development.
