본 연구는 새로 개발된 청소년용 투사검사 도구인 청소년주제통각검사(TAT-A)의 도판별 카드당김력이 자기보고식 내러티브 반응에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이에 적합한 구조화된 내러티브 생성 방식의 필요성을 실증적으로 검토하였다. 주제통각검사(TAT)의 전통적인 검사자 유도 방식인 성과기반 방식과 달리 본 연구에서는 자기보고 방식을 이용하여 피검자가 검사자가 없는 상태에서 그림도판에 대해 자율적으로 내러티브를 생성하도록 설계하였다. 72명의 비임상 청소년을 대상으로 TAT-A의 10개 도판별 자기보고식 프로토콜을 수집하고 SCORS-G 평정 체계를 통해 8개의 차원별 점수를 확인한 결과, 도판별로 적응적 또는 방어적 내러티브가 상이하게 유도되는 경향이 확인되었다. 도판 1, A, B, C는 긍정적 정서 반응과 자아 통합을 촉진한 반면, 도판 5, 6, 7, E는 SE와 AGG 차원에서 부정적 반응을 유도하였다. 전반적으로 주요 평정 차원에서는 높은 신뢰도가 나타났으나, SE와 ICS 차원에서는 낮은 일치도를 보였다. 본 연구는 TAT-A에 적합한 내러티브 유도 방식과 도판별 자극 특성을 고려한 평가 전략이 청소년 심리평가의 타당도 향상에 기여할 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the effect of card-pulling power of the Thematic Apperception Test for Adolescents (TAT-A), a newly developed projective test tool for adolescents, on self-reported narrative responses, and empirically examined the necessity of a structured narrative generation method suitable for it. Unlike the performance-based method, which is a traditional examiner-induced method of the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), this study designed the self-report method so that the examinee autonomously generated narratives about the picture boards in the absence of the examiner. The self-report protocols for each of the 10 TAT-A boards were collected from 72 non-clinical adolescents, and the scores for each of the eight dimensions were confirmed through the SCORS-G rating system. As a result, it was confirmed that adaptive or defensive narratives tended to be induced differently by board. Boards 1, A, B, and C promoted positive emotional responses and ego integration, whereas boards 5, 6, 7, and E induced negative responses in the SE and AGG dimensions. Overall, high reliability was shown in the major assessment dimensions, but low agreement was shown in the SE and ICS dimensions. This study suggests that an assessment strategy that considers the narrative induction method suitable for TAT-A and the stimulus characteristics of each panel can contribute to improving the validity of adolescent psychological assessment.
