단계별･수준별 학습을 적용한 초등학교 4학년 물구나무서기와 손 짚고 옆돌기 수업 사례

국문 초록

동작도전은 다양한 이유로 학교현장에서 기피되고 있다. 이에 동작도전 중 물구나무서기, 손 짚고 옆돌기 동작을 원활하게 지도할 수 있도록 단계별･수준별 학습을 적용하여 보다 쉽고, 흥미있고, 안전하게 수업할 수 있도록 자료를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 충북 제천시에 위치한 Y초등학교 남자 21명, 여자 19명 총 40명의 초등 학생이며, 프로그램 전･후 설문자료, 개발형설문, 심층면담, 일기 등의 자료를 수집 및 분석하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학생들은 단계별･수준별 학습 후 물구나무서기와 손 짚고 옆돌기에 대한 이해, 흥미가 유발되었으며, 다음 동작을 도전하고 싶어 하는 등 동작도전에 관심이 높아졌다. 둘째, 초등학생들은 경쟁활동을 가장 좋아하였지만, 수업 후 도전활동이 5명(12.5%)에서 15명(37.5%)으로 빈도가 높아졌다. 여전히 경쟁활동을 가장 선호하지만, 긍정적인 변화를 가져왔다. 셋째, 귀납적 범주화 결과 불안&두려움이 낮아지고, 자신감, 노력, 지속적인 도전 등 긍정적으로 변화되었다. 이러한 결과로 인해 아이들이 학교체육현장에서 다양한 활동을 할 수 있는 발판이 마련되었으면 한다.

영문 초록

Movement challenge is avoided in school for various reasons. Accordingly, presented material to make classes easier, more interesting, and safer by applying step-by-step and level-specific learning to smoothly teach handstand and cartwheel movements during the movement challenge. Participants in this study were a total of 40 elementary school students 21 boys and 19 girls from Y Elementary School located in Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do. Data such as pre- and post-program survey data, developed questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and diaries were collected and analyzed. The results are as follows. First, after step-bystep and level-spectific learning, elementary school students gained understanding and interest in handstands and cartwheel, and their interest in movement challenges increased as they wanted to try the next movement. Second, although elementary school students liked competitive activities before class the most, the frequency of challenging activities after class increased from 5(12.5%) to 15(37.5%). Although competitive activities are still the most preferred, it has brought about positive changes. Third, as a result of inductive classification, anxiety and nervousness were lowered, and there were some positive changes such as confidence, effort, and continuous challenge. We hope that these results will provide a foundation for children to engage in various activities at school sports sites.
