관심기반수용모형에 의한 유아교사의 유아메이커교육 관심도 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명시대에 적합한 미래 인재 양성을 위한 교육 방안으로 평가되고 있는 유아메이커교육의 실천을 위해 유아교사(교사, 원감, 원장)의 유아메이커교육에 대한 관심도를 파악하기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해 서울·경기지역 공·사립 유치원 55곳, 371명의 유아교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 관심도를 분석한 결과, 유아교사들의 유아메이커교육에 대한 전반적인 관심도는 비사용자의 프로파일 유형과 가장 유사하였다. 유아교사의 개인배경요인 별 관심도 차이 분석에서는 근무지역(서울, 경기)과 근무 기관(사립, 공립)에 따라 관심도에 차이가 없었으며, 연령, 최종 학력, 교직경력, 직급, 연수 경험에 따른 관심도에는 차이가 있었다. 만41세 이상, 대학원 재학 이상, 교직경력 9년 이상, 원장과 원감, 연수 경험이 있는 유아교사의 관심도가 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과, 유아교사에게 메이커 교육에 대한 다양한 정보와 교수학습 방법 및 평가자료 제공을 통해 관심도를 높임으로써 유아메이커교육이 교육현장에 정착되도록 지원할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This research was conducted to identify the stage of concerns(SoC) of childhood educators (teachers, inspectors, and principals) on “Childhood Maker Education” that is regarded as an effective teaching method in order to train and cultivate talented individuals who are best suited in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. To this end, a survey was conducted given in questionnaire form targeting 55 public/ private kindergartens, 371 early child educators in order to analyze their SoC. The result shows that the overall SoC of the early child educators on “Childhood Maker Education” were quite similar to that of the type in the profile of the “Non-User”. In the analysis of the SoC of individual early child educators, it did not show many differences in both working areas (Seoul/ Kyung-Gi province) and working organizations(private/public sectors) but showed differences in their ages, academic career, teaching career, positions in the job, and training experiences. We noticed that the SoC was statistically, meaningfully high for those early child educators who were 41 years and older in age, had 9 years plus teaching experience, were inspectors and principals, and who were teachers who had haven training experiences. This research shows the results in quite a positive manner which it is necessary to keep providing early child educators with various information on “Childhood Maker Education”, teaching-learning methods and evaluation materials. These will keep their SoC high, and “Childhood Maker Education” is well established in the education field.
