자가진단 루브릭에 근거한 피드백 전략이 예비유아교사의 일화기록 작성능력과 반성적 사고에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 자가진단 루브릭에 근거한 피드백 전략이 예비유아교사의 일화기록 작성능력과 반성적 사고에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 예비유아교사들이 작성한 일화기록에 대해 자가진단 루브릭에 근거한 피드백 전략을 총 9회 실시하였으며, 일화기록 작성능력 평가자료, 반성적 사고 평가자료 그리고 심층면담과 반성적 저널쓰기 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 루브릭에 근거한 피드백 전략이 예비유아교사의 일화기록 작성능력을 향상시켰으며 구체적으로 피드백의 수용성과 활용도의 증가, 기록과 분석에 대한 수준 향상, 관찰 및 유아발달에 대한 관심 증가가 나타났다. 또한 반성적 사고 수준도 향상된 것으로 나타났으며 특히 오류 인식, 생각의 변화에 큰 영향을 끼친 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 유아교육기관에서 일화기록이 갖는 중요성에 비추어 예비교사 대상의 일화기록 작성을 위한 효과적인 교사교육 방법으로 자가진단 루브릭에 근거한 피드백 전략이 하나의 방법이 될 수 있음을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of the present study was to examine the effects of a rubric-based feedback strategy on pre-service early childhood teachers’ competency in writing anecdotal records as well as their development of reflective thinking. To this end, pre-service teachers were provided with rubric-based feedback on their anecdotal records for nine instances during the intervention. Additionally, research materials including post-intervention conferences and participants’ journal writings were collected to evaluate their competency in anecdotal writing and their development of reflective thinking. The results of the study show that the intervention appeared to improve pre-service early childhood teachers’ competency in writing anecdotal records, particularly for the following i) elevated level of acceptance and utility of provided feedback, ii) enhanced ability to document and analyze what they observed, and iii) higher interests in child observation and development. Furthermore, the participants demonstrated a higher level of reflective thinking, specifically as follows i) detecting their errors, and ii) changes in their thoughts. The intervention implemented in this study (i.e., providing rubric-based feedback) can be used as an effective tool to reinforce pre-service teachers’ expertise on anecdotal records. Implications and suggestions for early childhood teacher education programs related to these findings appear at the end of this study.
