아버지와 유아교사 간 의사소통의 실태 및 요구 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지와 유아교사 간의 의사소통에 대한 실태 및 요구를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도에 소재한 유치원 및 어린이집에 다니는 만 3-5세 자녀를 둔 아버지 280명과 유아교사 182명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 아버지와 유아교사 간 의사소통 만족도는 보통 수준이며, 의사소통의 인식은 보통보다 약간 높게 나타났고, 의사소통의 만족도에서 두 집단 간 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 아버지와 유아교사 간 의사소통 내용의 실태를 살펴보면, 두 집단 모두 기관에서의 생활, 가정에서의 생활, 기관 운영 순으로 높았고, 기관에서의 생활과 기관 운영에서 두 집단 간 유의한 차이가 있었다. 의사소통 방법은 아버지와 유아교사 모두 일방적 의사 소통이 높았고, 일방적, 쌍방적 의사소통에서 모두 유의한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 아버지와 유아교사의 의사소통 내용에 대한 요구를 살펴보면, 아버지는 기관에서의 생활에 대한 요구가, 유아교사는 기관에서의 생활과 가정에서의 생활에 대한 요구가 높게 나타났다. 가정에서의 생활에 대한 요구는 두 집단간 유의한 차이가 있었다. 의사소통 방법에 대한 요구는 아버지와 유아교사 모두 일방적 의사소통에 대한 요구가 높게 나타났으며, 일방적 의사소통과 쌍방적 의사소통의 요구에서 모두 아버지와 유아교사 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the current state and needs of communication between fathers and preschool teachers. The subjects of this study were 280 fathers and 182 preschool teachers with children 3-5 years old attending preschool educational institutions(kindergartens or day care centers) in Gyeonggi-do. The results of this study are as follows. First, the level of communication satisfaction between fathers and preschool teachers was normal, and the perception of communication was higher than normal. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the level of communication satisfaction. Second, in terms of the current topics of communication between fathers and preschool teachers, the topics of the two groups were higher in the order of kindergarten or day care center life, daily life at home, and institution management. There was a significant difference between the two groups for the topics of kindergarten or day care center life and institution management. In the communication method, both fathers and preschool teachers had higher one-way communication, and there was a statistically significant difference in the one-way and two-way communication. Third, the demands of the fathers for kindergarten or day care center life were high, and the demands for kindergarten or day care center life and daily life at home were high in preschool teachers. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the need for daily life at home. In terms of communication methods, both fathers and preschool teachers showed higher demands for one-way communication than two-way communication. In both types of communication, there was a statistically significant difference between fathers and teachers.
