그림책을 활용한 건강생활활동이 영아의 건강인식 및 건강증진에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 건강생활활동을 통해 영아들이 자신의 건강에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 스스로 인식하여 긍정적인 의사결정을 내리고, 자신의 건강을 스스로 책임질 수 있는 올바른 생활 태도를 기르는데 목적이 있다. 이에 부산광역시에 소재한 영아반 40명을 대상으로 실험집단과 비교집단으로 나누어 실험연구를 하였으며, 그림책을 활용하여 20회의 건강생활활동을 실험집단에게 실시하였다. 그 결과 그림책을 활용한 건강생활활동이 영아 건강인식 전체와 건상인식 하위요인인 영양, 수면, 배변에 긍정적인 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 그림책을 활용한 건강생활활동은 영아의 건강증진의 전체와 건상증진 하위요인인 영양, 수면, 배변을 향상시키는 데 긍정적인 효과가 나타났다. 이상의 결과들은 그림책을 활용한 건강생활동이 영아의 건강인식 및 건강증진을 향상시키기 위한 유용한 방안이 될 수 있다는 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate children's health cognition and promotion by using programs based on picture-books for health areas that could have a positive influence upon children's health. The research included 40 preschool children at preschools. Twenty children at 'H' preschools at S-gu Busan were the experimental group, while another 20 children at 'G' preschool were the comparison group. Both groups were under the same environment for their daily lives. The experimental group was given a health life activity program, while comparison group listened to a teacher reading a-picture book. The following are the research results: First, using picture books for healthy living activities in the experimental group had a meaningful improvement in all aspects compared to the comparative group on overall health recognition – including sub factors such as cleanliness, nutrition, sleep, bowel movement and diseases. There were no signs of improvement for cleanliness and bowel movement. Second, the children in the experimental group who did the picture book based health life activities improved their health significantly more so than that of the comparison group. The picture book based health life activities were found to have an affirmative influence on health promotion in children.
