유아교육기관에서의 ‘유아문학교육을 위한 부모교육 프로그램’ 적용에 관한 실행연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아교육기관에서의 ‘유아문학교육을 위한 부모교육 프로그램’ 적용에 대한 교사의 실행 과정을 알아봄으로써, 현장 교사의 목소리를 통해 보다 효과적인 유아문학교육을 위한 부모교육에 대한 시사점을 얻는 것이다. 연구를 위해 부모교육 프로그램 6회가 실시되는 동안 교사의 실행과정을 살펴보았다. 연구 참여자는 A시 햇빛유치원의 원장, 원감, 부모교육 참여 어머니 6명이었다. 자료 수집은 참여관찰, 면담, 문서 수집 등으로 이루어졌다. 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로그램의 실행 과정은 ‘프로그램 준비와 부모의 목소리 듣기’, ‘언어교육의 목표 알기’, ‘실제로 들어가기’, ‘실제를 즐기기’, ‘실제를 창안하기’, ‘마무리, 그리고 스스로 나아가기’의 순서로 진행되었다. 둘째, 경험적 의미로 나타난 것은, ‘부담감 대 사명감’, ‘유아문학교육 부모교육을 위한 실행 전략 제시’, ‘나비 효과: 작은 변화에서 읽어내는 큰 미래’이었다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 유아문학교육을 위한 부모교육 프로그램을 진행한 교사의 ‘심리적인 특성’, ‘실행 전략’을 발견하였고, 교육적 시사점을 얻었다. 본 연구의 의의는 부모 중심 부모교육 프로그램의 중요성을 제시한 점과 유아문학교육을 위한 부모교육 프로그램의 의미를 교사의 실행 과정 차원으로 분석하였다는 점이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the organization and application process of parent education programs related early childhood literature education among teachers in an effort to give some suggestions on parent education programs geared toward providing effective early childhood literature education based from their perspective. How the selected teachers organized and conducted parent education programs was observed. The subjects in this study were six people in Sunshine Kindergarten, who included the principal, vice principal and mothers. Data were gathered by making a participant observation, having an interview and collecting relevant documents. The findings of the study were as follows: First, as for the implementation process of the programs, the programs were carried out in the order of ‘program preparing and listening to parents,' ‘learning the objectives of language education,' ‘practicing,' ‘enjoying practicing,' ‘creating a better way,' ‘wrapping-up and going forward.' Second, there were several experiential meanings in the program implementation: ‘burden vs. a sense of mission,' ‘presenting action strategies for parent education for early childhood literature education,' and 'butterfly effect: small change and bright future.' The information on the ‘psychological characteristics' and ‘action strategies' of the teachers who conducted the parent education programs for early childhood literature education was obtained in that process, and what suggestions they gave was discussed. This study is significant in that it described the importance of parent-centered parent education programs and the significance of parent education programs for early childhood literature education by focusing on the process.
