국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 관찰·기록 역량 개발을 위한 협력적 실행 과정을 탐구하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2021년 11월 1일부터 2022년 2월 25일까지 연구자와 어린이집 교사 4명이 부적응행동을 보이는 유아를 관찰·기록하며 협력적 실행 과정에 참여하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 1차 실행에서는 부적응행동을 보이는 유아의 관찰·기록에 대한 자료를 수집하며, 교사들이 생각하는 관찰·기록의 의미를 분석하였다. 2차 실행에서는 관찰·기록의 목적과 방법, 패들렛의 사용에 대해 공유가 이루어졌다. 3차 실행에서는 부적응행동의 원인을 분석하고 부적응행동 지원 방법에 대한 협의와 공유가 이루어졌다. 또한 보육교사들은 부적응행동을 보이는 유아를 지속으로 관찰·기록하고 부적응행동의 지원 전략을 공유하고, 새로운 지원 전략을 수립하는 과정에서 유아가 보이는 부적응 행동의 원인을 다각도로 분석하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 이해하게 되었다. 본 연구는 전통적인 교사교육의 방법을 벗어나 유아교육기관이라는 현장 안에서 문제를 발견하고 구성하며, 문제를 풀어나갈 수 있는 실천력과 이론적 힘을 함께 가질 수 있도록 현장 지향적인 교사 재교육으로의 변화가 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the collaborative implementation processes for developing observation and recording competency of early childhood teachers. To achieve this, from November 1, 2021, to February 25, 2022, the researcher and four preschool teachers observed and recorded the behaviors of children displaying maladaptive behaviors, while participating in the collaborative implementation process. The collected data were then analyzed. In the first phase of the implementation, data were collected on the observation and recording of children displaying maladaptive behaviors, and the meaning of the observation and recording as perceived by the teachers was analyzed. In the second phase of the implementation, sharing was conducted on the purpose and methods of observation and recording and on the use of a padlet. In the third phase of the implementation, an analysis of the causes of maladaptive behaviors and a discussion and sharing on support strategies for maladaptive behaviors were conducted. Furthermore, the childcare teachers came to understand the importance of continuously observing and recording children displaying maladaptive behaviors, sharing support strategies for maladaptive behaviors, and analyzing the causes of maladaptive behaviors from multiple perspectives in the process of developing new support strategies. This study suggests the need for a shift towards field-oriented teacher retraining within the context of early childhood education institutions, where problems can be identified and addressed, and where teachers can develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge to solve these problems.
