보육교사가 바라본 보육교사에 의한 아동학대 원인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 보육교사에 의한 아동학대 원인을 보육교사의 인성과 직무 스트레스 이외 보육교사가 바라본 숨겨진 원인을 밝히고자 실시하였다. 연구대상은 충청도 C시에 소재한 민간어린이집 보육교사 12명이며, 포커스 그룹 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 보육교사 관련, 아동과 부모 관련, 사회 관련으로 분류하여 주제별 약호화 과정을 통해 주제와 상호연결하고 의미 있는 방식으로 체계화 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사 관련 원인으로 보육교사 자격증 취득과정의 수월성, 보육교사의 생애주기 변화가 나타났다. 둘째, 아동과 부모 관련 원인으로 아동의 개인적 특성과 부모의 양육태도 부족, 무분별한 커뮤니티 확산이 나타났다. 셋째, 사회 관련 원인으로 아동학대의 포괄적 개념 정의와 과도한 경쟁, 과도한 보육시간이 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 영유아교육기관에서 발생하는 보육교사에 의한 아동학대의 근본적 원인을 이해하고 아동학대 예방과 근절을 위한 기틀 마련에 이바지할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to clarify the cause of child abuse by childcare teachers from the perspective of childcare teachers. In previous studies, most of the causes of child abuse are attributed to the personality and job stress of childcare teachers, but it started with the hypothesis that there will be hidden causes of child abuse seen by childcare teachers who experience whole daily life with children. The subjects of the study were 12 child care teachers at a private daycare center located in C-city, Chungcheong province, and the research method was a focus group in-depth interview method. The collected data were classified as related to childcare teachers, related to children and parents, and related to society, and interconnected with the subject through the process of weakening by subject, and systematized and manipulated in a meaningful manner. As a result of the study, first, the ease of the process of obtaining a childcare teacher certificate and the change in the life cycle of childcare teachers were found as reasons related to childcare teachers. Second, the causes related to children and parents were found to be the lack of personal characteristics of children, parents' parenting attitudes, and indiscriminate community spread. Third, the social-related causes were the comprehensive definition of the concept of child abuse, excessive competition, and excessive childcare time. The results of this study are expected to contribute to understanding the fundamental causes of child abuse caused by childcare teachers in the future and laying the foundation for the prevention and eradication of child abuse.
