국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 자아존중감 자녀의 회복탄력성 간의 관계에서 어머니 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기와 충청 지역 유치원에 재원 중인 만 5세 유아 278명과 그들의 어머니 및 담임교사가 연구에 참여했고 어머니의 자아존중감과 회복탄력성 그리고 유아의 회복탄력성에 관한 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석 결과, 어머니의 자아존중감은 유아의 회복탄력성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 어머니의 자아존중감은 어머니의 회복탄력성, 그리고 어머니의 회복탄력성은 유아의 회복탄력성에 영향을 주었다. 이러한 과정에서 어머니 회복탄력성의 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 유아기 자녀의 회복탄력성 교육에서 어머니의 자아존중감과 회복탄력성이 중요한 변인임을 확인하였고, 동시에 유아기 부모교육에서 어머니의 심리적 건강성에 해당하는 자아존중감과 회복탄력성이 중요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study examined the relationship of mothers’ self-esteem and young children’s resilience to investigate the mediating effect of the mothers’ resilience. The questionnaire survey method targeted 278 mothers and 13 teachers working at a kindergarten in the Gyeonggi and Chungcheong province. This study aimed to measure the mothers’ self-esteem, and young children’s resilience, and examine these factors’ effects on the mother’s resilience. The results of this study are as follows. Mother’s resilience self-esteem partially mediated the relationship between the mothers’ self-esteem and the children’s resilience. Consequently, the results of this study revealed that mothers’ self-esteem and young children’s resilience were related to young children’s resilience.
