국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 초, 중, 고등학교에 재직 중인 교사의 전문성 개발 인식에 따라 잠재프로파일분석을 통해 유형화하고, 프로파일 분류에 영향을 미치는 예측요인과 프로파일별 결과 요인에 어떠한 차이가 나타나는지 분석하는 데에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 현직교사 956명을 대상으로 수집한 설문 자료를 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 교사의 전문성 개발 인식은 ‘저평가형’, ‘보통평가형’, ‘선택적 고평가형’, ‘고평가형’, ‘초고평가형’의 다섯 가지 유형으로 분류되었다. 예측요인으로는 학교유형, 교직경력, 교사효능감, 직무 다양성, 직무 자율성, 학교장 자율성 지원 리더십, 역할 스트레스가 프로파일 분류에 영향을 미치는 변수로 확인되었다. 결과 요인에서는 직무몰입 수준과 경력변경의도에서 프로파일 유형 간 유의한 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 교사의 전문성 개발 인식 제고를 위한 실천적 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to identify distinct profiles of teachers based on their perceptions of professional development through latent profile analysis (LPA) among teachers working in elementary, middle, and high schools in South Korea. Furthermore, the study examines the predictive factors influencing profile membership and analyzes differences in outcome variables across the identified profiles. Survey data collected from 956 in-service teachers were analyzed. The results identified five distinct profiles of teachers’ perceptions of professional development: “low evaluation”, “moderate evaluation”, “selective high evaluation”, “high evaluation”, and “extremely high evaluation”. Regarding the predictors, school type, teaching experience, teacher self-efficacy, job variety, job autonomy, principals’ autonomy-supportive leadership, and role stress were found to significantly influence profile membership. In terms of outcome variables, significant differences were observed among the profiles in work engagement and career change intention. Based on these findings, practical implications are discussed for enhancing teachers’ perceptions of professional development.
