청소년 인권침해와 인권의식 관계에서 자녀 의사결정 존중, 학생 정보 보호, 학생 참여 존중의 조절효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 인권침해(부모학대, 학교교사 학대, 학교폭력, 사이버폭력)와 인권의식(인권존중, 인권상황 인식, 인권효능감)의 관계에 대한 가정 내 자녀 의사결정 존중, 학교 내 학생정보 보호, 학생 참여 존중의 조절효과를 탐색하기 위해 기술통계, 조절효과 분석(Hayes, 2017)을 수행하였다. 한국청소년정책연구원에서 주관한 2021 아동·청소년 인권실태조사(중·고등학생용) 결측치를 제외한 응답자료 중 중학생 2.850명이 분석 대상이었다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인권침해(부모학대, 학교교사 학대, 학교폭력, 사이버폭력)는 인권의식(인권존중, 인권상황 인식, 인권효능감)에 통계적으로 유의미한 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 자녀 의사결정 존중과 학교에서의 학생정보 보호는 인권의식과 인권침해와의 관계를 조절하였다. 학교에서의 학생 참여 존중은 인권의식과 인권침해와의 관계를 조절하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 가정 내 자녀 의사결정 존중과 학교에서 학생 정보 보호 경험은 긍정적 인권의식을 형성하여 여러 인권침해 상황의 부당함을 적극적으로 인지할 수 있으며 타인의 인권에 대한 존중과 보호도 실천할 수 있게 도울 수 있다. 그러나, 인권침해(부모학대, 학교교사 학대, 학교폭력, 사이버폭력)와 인권의식(인권존중, 인권상황 인식, 인권효능감)의 관계에 대한 자녀 의사결정 존중, 학생정보 보호 조절효과는 모든 관계를 조절하지 못하여서 추후 다양한 연구를 통해 재검증할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating effects of respects for children’s decisions in family, students’ privacy protection in school, students’ participation in school on the relationship between adolescents’ human rights violations (parental abuse, teacher abuse, school violence, cyber violence) and human rights awareness (respect for human rights, awareness of human rights situation, human rights efficacy). Descriptive statistics, correlation, Hayes’ SPSS Macro Model 1 analysis were used. This study used the National Youth Policy Institute’s ‘A study on the human rights of children and adolescents’ in 2021. The number of middle school participants was 2,850. The results obtained from the analyses were as follows. First, human rights violations(parental abuse, teacher abuse, school violence, cyber violence) had a statistically significant negative effects on human rights awareness(respect for human rights, awareness of human rights situation, human rights efficacy). Second, respects for children’s decisions and students’ privacy protection moderated the relationship between adolescents’human rights violations and human rights awareness. The respect for students’ participation didn’t moderate the relationship between adolescents’ human rights violations and human rights awareness. Since the moderating effect of respects for children’s decisions and students’ privacy protection was not shown in all case of this study, it is necessary to re-verify through various studies in the future. Finally, the significance and limitations of the results of this study were discussed.
