국문 초록

본 논문은 세계 성공회 공동체 내의 고정적이고 부족주의적인 사고와 실천이 공동체의 분열을 획책하는 주된 원인임을 지적하고 이에 대한 대안적인 신학적 접근을 제안한다. 동성애를 비롯한 논쟁적 사안들과 관련한 고정적이고 이원적인 사고는 교회들 뿐만 아니라 교회의 구성원들 간의 걸림돌이 되어 왔다. 본 논문은 이러한 사고가 삼위일체 하느님의 본질인 상호내주, 자기희생적 수용, 역동적 관계성과의 연결을 단절시키고 그에 따라 성공회의 정체성을 훼손해 왔다는 것을 밝힌다. 따라서 본 논문은 삼위일체 하느님의 상호침투적 관계성에 기초한 ‘역동적이고 관계적인 사고(dynamic and relational thinking)’를 성공회 정체성의 신학적 기초로 제시하고자 한다, 나아가, 현재 교착상태에 빠진 세계 성공회 공동체의 갈등을 치유하고 화해로 나아가기 위한 신학적 대화의 틀을 재구성 하고자 한다. 성공회 정체성의 본질을 ‘커뮤니언’으로 재정의함으로써, 오늘날 교회 분열의 현실 속에서 다양성 속에서의 일치라는 삼위일체 신학의 근본 정신을 어떻게 구현할 수 있는지 탐색하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This paper points out that static and tribal thinking and polity within the Anglican Communion are the main causes of the divisions of the Communion, and proposes an alternative theological approach to address this issue. Static and dualistic thinking on controversial issues including homosexuality has often created barriers, not only between churches but also among its members. This paper shows that such thinking has severed the connection from the true meaning of the Trinity: mutual indwelling, self-giving and receiving, and dynamic relationships, and has thus damaged the Anglican Identity. Therefore, this paper aims to present ‘dynamic and relational thinking’ based on the reciprocal permeable relationship of the Trinity as the theological foundation of Anglican Identity. Furthermore, it seeks to reconstruct the framework of theological dialogue to heal the conflicts from the current deadlock within the global Anglican Communion and to reconcile the divisions. By redefining the essence of Anglican identity as ‘communion’, the paper seeks to explore how the core spirit of Trinitarian Theology, the unity in diversity, can be embodied within today’s division of church.
