본 연구는 디지털 과부하와 일상적 스트레스가 심화되는 현대 사회에서 주목받고 있는 도보관광이 관광객의 가치 인식, 태도, 행동의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 부산 주요 도보관광지 방문객 296명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식 모형을 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 도보관광 동기(일탈, 가족친화, 힐링, 자연체험)는 모두 관광경험의 가치 인식에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 그 중 자연체험 동기의 효과가 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한 가치 인식은 긍정적 태도 형성에 기여하였고, 태도는 다시 행동의도의 핵심 예측 요인으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 도보관광이 단순한 여가활동을 넘어 가치 인식을 증진시키고, 이를 통해 심리적 회복·정서적 안정·건강 증진·자기 성찰을 촉진하며 개인의 삶의 질 향상과 행동 변화에 기여함을 보여준다. 본 연구는 관광행동 연구에서 동기-가치-태도-행동의도라는 심리적 경로를 통합적으로 검증함으로써 학문적 함의를 확장하고, 도보관광의 실천적 가치와 지속가능한 관광자원 개발 방향을 제시한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the influence of walking tourism motivation on tourists’ perceived value, attitude, and behavioral intention in the context of modern society characterized by digital overload and daily stress. A survey was conducted with 296 visitors to major walking tourism sites in Busan, and the data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The results indicate that walking tourism motivations—including escape, family-oriented, healing, and nature-experience—positively affect tourists’ value perception, with nature-experience showing the strongest effect. In addition, value perception significantly contributes to the formation of positive attitudes, which in turn serve as a critical predictor of behavioral intention. These findings suggest that walking tourism not only provides leisure activities but also enhances value perception, promotes psychological recovery, emotional stability, health improvement, and self-reflection, thereby contributing to improvements in individual quality of life and positive behavioral changes. The study extends the theoretical framework of tourism behavior by empirically verifying the psychological pathway of motivation-value-attitude-behavioral intention, and offers practical implications for the development of sustainable walking tourism resources and strategies.
