국문 초록

본 연구는 Kolb의 학습유형 이론과 지능형 튜터링 시스템(Intelligent Tutoring Systems; ITSs)의 핵심 요소를 연계하여 초등학생을 위한 맞춤형 학습 설계 원리를 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 초등교육, 교수설계, 에듀테크 전문가 등 15인의 전문가 집단을 구성하고, 델파이(Delphi) 기법을 통해 세 차례의 합의 과정을 거쳐 총 15개의 설계 원리를 최종 도출하였다. 각 설계 원리는 Kolb 유형별 학습 선호 특성과 ITSs의 구성요소(도메인 모델, 학습자 모델, 교수 전략, 피드백 시스템 등)를 정합적으로 연계하여 도출되었으며, 학습자의 인지적·정서적 특성을 반영한 ITSs 설계 기준으로 기능할 수 있다. 본 연구는 ITSs 기반 맞춤형 학습 설계의 이론적 정합성과 실천 가능성을 확보하고, AI 기반 디지털 교육 환경에서 Kolb 학습유형 이론의 통합적 적용 가능성을 제시함으로써 초등학생 맞춤형 학습 구현을 위한 실질적 방향을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to develop personalized learning design principles for elementary students by integrating Kolb’s Learning Styles Theory with key components of Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITSs). A Delphi method was employed to derive consensus among 15 experts in educational technology, instructional design, elementary education, and EdTech. Through three rounds of surveys, a total of 15 design principles were finalized, aligning Kolb’s four learning styles with the structural elements of ITSs, such as domain models, learner models, instructional strategies, and feedback mechanisms. These principles provide a framework for incorporating learners’ cognitive and emotional characteristics into ITSs design. The study not only secures theoretical and practical validity of personalized learning design using ITSs but also offers a new direction for implementing Kolb’s theory in AI-based digital learning environments, especially in the context of elementary education.
