국문 초록

최근 청년층 실업 문제는 디자인 교육과 산업 현장 간의 직무 역량 불일치에서 비롯된 구조적인 문제로 인식되고 있다. 이에 따라 정부는 국가직무능력표준(National Competency Standard: NCS)을 도입하여 디자인 관련 직업교육과 자격제도 간의 연계성을 강화하고자 하였으나, 디자인 교육 현장에서는 여전히 기존의 전통적인 교수 방식에 머물러 있으며, 실무 중심의 교육에 대한 요구가 지속적으로 제기되고 있다. 본 연구는 NCS를 기반으로 한 디자인 교육시스템이 교육만족도와 학습 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 디자인 교육시스템의 구성 요소는 교육목표, 교육내용, 교육방법, 교육평가, 교육환경으로 구분하였다. 연구 수행을 위해 부산 지역 내 NCS 기반 디자인 교육 수강자 및 수료생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SmartPLS 4.0을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육목표는 교육만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육내용은 교육만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 교육방법 또한 교육만족도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 교육평가 역시 교육만족도에 유의미한 영향을 주었다. 다섯째, 교육환경도 교육만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 교육만족도는 전반적인 교육성과에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 NCS 기반 디자인 교육시스템에서 교육만족도의 향상이 교육성과 제고로 이어질 수 있음을 실증적으로 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

The ongoing issue of youth unemployment has been identified as a structural problem stemming from a mismatch between design education and the competency requirements of the industry. In response, the government introduced the National Competency Standards (NCS) to strengthen the linkage between vocational design education and certification systems. However, educational practices in the design field still largely adhere to conventional methods, highlighting the growing need for practice-oriented instruction. This study aims to analyze the effects of an NCS-based design education system on learner satisfaction and educational performance. The design education system is categorized into five key components: educational objectives, content, methods, assessment, and environment. A survey was conducted among current and former learners enrolled in NCS-based design programs in the Busan area, and the collected data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0. The findings are as follows: First, educational objectives had a significant impact on learner satisfaction. Second, educational content positively influenced satisfaction. Third, instructional methods significantly affected satisfaction. Fourth, educational assessment also showed a meaningful influence. Fifth, the learning environment had a notable impact. Lastly, learner satisfaction was found to significantly affect educational performance. This study empirically demonstrates that improvements in satisfaction within an NCS-based design education system can lead to enhanced educational outcomes.
