국문 초록

Objectives: To determine the impact of dental hygiene students' experiences of rudeness and, professional self-concept, onclinical practice transition shock. Methods: The study included 166 dental hygiene students with clinical practice experience obtained between March 17 April 28, 2023. Results: Clinical practice satisfaction, major satisfaction, and rudeness significantly affected the transition shock of dental hygiene students. The explanatory power was 41.4%. Conclusions: To alleviate the transition shock of dental hygiene students, it is crucial to reduce the gap between school education and clinical practice. This can be achieved by enhancing preclinical education for each clinical subject through the integration of simulation-based clinical training into the curriculum.
