Objectives: To investigate the association between depression, xerostomia, and oral health-related quality of life among high school teachers. Methods: This cross-sectional survey, which included 148 high school teachers from Busan, South Korea, was conducted between April and May 2024. Depression was measured using the Korean version of the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale, xerostomia using a 10-point visual analog scale, and oral health-related QoL using Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14). Data were analyzed using t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson’s correlation analysis. Results: Depression scores were significantly higher among male teachers, those with religious affiliation, homeroom teachers, and teachers at non-academic high schools (p < 0.05). Xerostomia and lower OHIP-14 scores were more frequent among teachers aged ≥50 years, with religious affiliation, and with >20 years of teaching experience. Furthermore, depression was positively correlated with xerostomia (p < 0.001) and negatively with OHIP-14 (p < 0.001). Conclusions: Depression adversely affects xerostomia and oral health-related QoL in high school teachers. These findings suggest the need for integrated mental and oral health interventions tailored to high-risk occupational groups.
