국문 초록

본 연구는 탐구형 문제 만들기(PPI; Problem Posing through Investigation) 과제 해결에서 나타나는 중학생의 창의성을 전략창의성과 결과창의성으로 구분하여 그 관계를 분석하고, 두 창의성이 높은 학생의 특징을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 중학교 3학년 학생 16명을 대상으로 개별적으로 PPI 과제를 해결하도록 하고 그 결과를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 전략창의성과 결과창의성 간에는 높은 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 학생들은 소수의 제한적인 전략만 사용하였으며 이는 전략의 종류를 충분히 알지 못한 것에 영향을 받은 것으로 파악된다. 셋째, 도형 탐구시 보조 선/도형을 추가하는 것이 무조건 창의적 결과물로 이어지는 것은 아니었으며, 특정 목적을 설정하고 보조 선/도형을 더 추가하며 문제 상황을 확장하는 학생들에게서 전략창의성과 결과창의성 점수가 높게 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between strategic creativity and outcome creativity in middle school students when solving Problem Posing through Investigation(PPI) tasks, and to identify the characteristics of students with high levels of both types of creativity. For this purpose, 16 third-year students from Middle School were individually tasked with solving PPI tasks. The results were analyzed, yielding the following findings: First, there was a high correlation between strategic creativity and outcome creativity. Second, students used only a limited number of strategies, which was attributed to their lack of knowledge about the variety of available strategies. Third, adding auxiliary lines/shapes during geometric exploration did not necessarily lead to creative outcomes; rather, students who set specific goals and expanded the problem situation by adding more auxiliary lines/shapes showed higher scores in both strategic creativity and outcome creativity.
