국문 초록

본 논문은 동북 방언의 언어적·문화적 특성을 바탕으로 동북 방언과 코미디의 연관성을 탐구한다. 동북 방언은 강한 억양, 독특한 어휘, 직설적이면서도 유머러스한 표현 방식이 특징이며, 이러한 요소들은 코미디에서 개성을 더욱 강조하고 유머 효과를 극대화한다. 본 연구는 코미디에서 드러나는 동북 방언의 언어적 특징과 문화적의미를 분석하며, 대표적인 동북 방언 코미디 작품을 통해 그 역할을 조명한다. 동북방언은 다른 방언보다 더욱 강렬한 유머감을 나타내며, 직설적이고 구수한 말투를통해 관객의 감정적 공감을 이끌어낸다. 특히 과장된 억양과 빠른 말 속도는 희극적효과를 극대화하는 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 대표적인 예로, ‘赵本山(자오번산)’의 소품(小品) 작품과 동북 방언을 중심으로 한 코미디 드라마에서 이러한 특징이 두드러진다. 또한 동북 방언은 등장인물을 더욱 입체적으로 만들고, 친숙하고 소탈한 분위 기를 조성하여 관객이 쉽게 몰입할 수 있도록 한다. 단순히 희극적 요소를 더하는 것에 그치지 않고, 지역 문화를 반영하여 관객이 동북 문화를 이해하고 공감하는 데기여한다. 본 연구는 이러한 점을 바탕으로 동북 방언과 코미디의 관계를 심층적으로 분석하고, 그 문화적 의미를 탐구하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This paper explores the relationship between the Northeastern Chinese dialect and comedy based on its linguistic and cultural characteristics. The Northeastern dialect is characterized by a strong intonation, unique vocabulary, and a direct yet humorous way of expression, which enhances individuality in comedy and maximizes comedic effects. This study analyzes the linguistic features and cultural significance of the Northeastern dialect as expressed in comedy and examines its role through representative comedic works featuring this dialect. Compared to other dialects, the Northeastern dialect evokes a stronger sense of humor and resonates with audiences through its straightforward and down-to-earth speech style. In particular, its exaggerated intonation and fast speech tempo are key elements that enhance comedic effects. These characteristics are especially prominent in the sketches of Zhao Benshan and comedy dramas that heavily incorporate the Northeastern dialect. Additionally, the Northeastern dialect makes characters more vivid and three-dimensional while creating a familiar and relaxed atmosphere, helping audiences become more engaged. Beyond being a simple comedic element, it also reflects regional culture, allowing audiences to better understand and connect with Northeastern Chinese culture. Based on these points, this study examines the relationship between the Northeastern dialect and comedy and explores its cultural significance.
