국문 초록

본 연구는 중국 민족 교육 정책의 주요 역사적 전환점과 소수민족 이중언어교육 관련문헌의 전반적 및 각 단계별 연구 동향을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 방탕으로 소수민족 이중언어교육에 대한 향후 연구의 잠재적 방향을 탐색하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구는 중국 민족 교육 정책을 ‘중화민국 시기’, ‘신중국 수립 초기’, ‘개혁개방 이후’, ‘당대’의 네 가지 단계로 구분하였다. 매 단계의 소수민족 교육 정책의 중요한 전환점 및 주요 민족 정책, 특히 이중언어교육의 발전 상황에 대해 상세하게 서술하였다. 또한, ‘기본 연구 현황 - 연구 내용 - 연구 방법’의 분석 기준을 적용하여 ‘중국지망(CNKI)’에서 검색, 선정된 33편의 학술지 논문에 대해 전체적 및 단계별 데이터 정리 분석 작업을 수행하였다. 이를 통해 ‘중화민족 공동체 의식’ 구축, ‘국가 통용 언어문자’ 보급, ‘지역 실정에 맞는’ 소수민족 이중언어교육 실시, 그리고 소수민족 이중언어교육 연구 방법의 다양성 확대 등 중국 소수민족 이중언어교육 연구의 발전에 중요한 의미를 지니는 결론을 도출하였다. 이러한 기초를 기반으로, 중국 소수민족 이중언어교육의 후속 발전에 유리한 경로를 모색하고, 본 연구가 소수민족 이중언어교육 연구의 후속 탐구에 기초적 참고 자료를 제공할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the major historical turning points of China’s ethnic education policy and the overall and stage-specific research trends related to bilingual education for ethnic minorities. Based on this analysis, the study seeks to explore potential directions for future research on ethnic minority bilingual education. To this end, China’s ethnic education policy is categorized into four distinct stages: the Republican period, the early years of the People's Republic of China, the post-reform and opening-up period, and the contemporary era. Each stage is described in detail, particularly focusing on the key transitions in ethnic education policy and the development of bilingual education. Furthermore, applying the analytical framework of “basic research status - research content - research methods,” the study analyzes 33 academic journal articles selected through the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). The findings highlight key themes in the development of bilingual education for ethnic minorities in China, including the construction of a shared national identity, the dissemination of the national standard language, the implementation of regionally appropriate bilingual education models, and the diversification of research methodologies. Based on these findings, the study seeks to identify promising directions for the future development of ethnic minority bilingual education in China and to provide a foundational reference for subsequent academic research in this field.
