로지스틱 회귀분석을 통한 보조동사 구성 '남겨 놓-'과 '남겨 두-'의 사용 양상 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 결과 상태를 나타내는 ‘남겨 놓-’과 ‘남겨 두-’의 용례를 분석하여, 두 표현 중 하나가 선택되는 데 영향을 미치는 요인을 로지스틱 회귀분석을 활용하여 조사하였다. 이를 위해 말뭉치에서 두 표현의 용례를 추출한 후, 언어 자질을 설계하고 어휘-문법 프레임을 적용하여 주요 설명 변인을 설정하였다. 분석에 포함된 설명 변인은 주어 유형, 목적어 유형, 착점 논항 유형, 문장 유형, 그리고 양태 표현 유형이다. 언어 변인은 ‘남겨 놓-’(0)과 ‘남겨 두-’(1)로 이분화하여 설정하였으며, 승산비 분석을 통해 각 설명 변인이 언어 변인에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 분석 결과, 주어가 1인칭일 때, 목적어가 유정 명사일 때, 착점 논항이 ‘(으)로’일 때, 문장 유형이 의문문일 때, 그리고 당위 양태 표지가 포함될 때 ‘남겨 두-’를 선택할 확률이 유의미하게 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 ‘남겨 놓-’과 ‘남겨 두-’의 사용 양상을 이해하는 데 기여할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the usage patterns of the auxiliary verb constructions Namgyeo noh- and Namgyeo du-, which indicate a resultant state, to examine the factors influencing their selection. To this end, instances of both expressions were extracted from a corpus, and linguistic features were designed. Based on a lexico-grammatical framework, key explanatory variables were established, including subject type, object type, destination argument type, sentence type, and modality expression type. The linguistic variable was binarized, with Namgyeo noh- coded as 0 and Namgyeo du- as 1. A logistic regression analysis was conducted using odds ratios to determine the influence of each explanatory variable on the linguistic variable. The results indicate that the probability of selecting Namgyeo du-significantly increases when the subject is first-person, the object is an animate noun,the destination argument is marked by (eu)ro, the sentence type is interrogative,and a deontic modality marker is present. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the usage patterns of Namgyeo noh- and Namgyeo du-.
