예비 초등교사의 개인, 대학생활 특성에 따른 집단별 교육성과의 차이 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 예비 초등교사의 개인적, 대학생활특성에 따라 집단을 구분하고 각 집단별로 교육성과(학업성취, 교육만족, 진로발달)의 차이를 분석하고 이를 통해서 각 집단별로 교육성과를 높이기 위한 방안을 마련하는데 있다. 이를 위해서 본 연구에서는 특정한 성질을 공유하는 모집단 내에서 질적으로 다른 하위 그룹을 식별하는데 사용하는 통계방법인 잠재집단분석을 실시하여 결과를 도출하였으며, 주요한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 잠재집단분석을 실시한 결과, 3개의 집단으로 구분되었으며, 각 집단은 ‘집단 1’은 ‘학교생활 참여 및 만족도가 높은 집단’, ‘집단 2’는 ‘고연령의 휴학, 아르바이트 경험이 있는 집단’, ‘집단 3’은 대학생활에 만족감이 낮은 집단’으로 명명하였다. 둘째, 학생 특성에 맞춘 맞춤형 지원이 요구된다. 셋째, 학생 간 유대감 증진 프로그램 확대가 요구된다. 넷째, 대학 만족도 제고를 위한 전반적인 제도 개선이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to categorize pre-service elementary teachers based on their personal and university life characteristics, analyze differences in their educational outcomes (academic achievement, educational satisfaction, and career development), and propose measures to improve these outcomes. Employing latent class analysis, a statistical method used to identify qualitatively different subgroups within a population that share certain characteristics, the study yielded the following key findings. First, the analysis identified three groups: Group 1 (actively involved in school life and highly satisfied), Group 2 (older with part-time work experience), and Group 3 (less satisfied with university life). Second, the study highlights the need for customized support tailored to individual student characteristics. Third, there is a need to expand programs that promote student bonding. Fourth, the overall system should be improved to enhance university satisfaction.
