いわゆる命令の｢のだ｣について

국문 초록

本稿では話し合い文で見られる、いわゆる命令的な｢のだ｣を対象とし、その文法的な意味と特徴について考察したものである。その主な論点を整理すると、次のようになる。 第1点目は命令的な｢のだ｣は<説明の構造>から考えると、記述文が不在する。したがって、<感嘆>などの用法と同様に<説明の構造>から離れ、｢のだ｣が説明という機能を失い、命令に近い働きをするようになるのである。 第2点目は命令的な｢のだ｣の文法的な特徴として次のような点を指摘した。 1)談話構造の移行(説明から命令) 2)よびかけ語(オイ、サア)との共起 3)文法化 第3点目は命令形による命令文と命令的な｢のだ｣文との異同について考察した。つまり、両者は共に命令的に機能するものの、後者は前者と違い、先行文との関連性、終助詞の種類、非典型的な命令用法の不在などの観点から違いもある、という点について指摘した。

영문 초록

In this paper, the grammatical meaning and characteristics of the so- called imperative NODA appearing in dialogue were examined. The summary of the main discussion is as follows. First of all, from the perspective of , the imperative NODA deviates from as in the use of in that NODA lost the function of explanation and acquired a new function comparable to the imperative function. Second, it was pointed out that the use of the imperative NODA has the following grammatical characteristics. 1) implementation of the discourse structure (from “explanation” to “command”), 2) co-occurrence with vocative case (oi, saa), 3) grammaticalization Third, the differences between the imperative statement and the imperative NODA were considered. In other words, though both of them realize the imperative meaning, they display several differences pertaining to relevance to the preceding sentence, the types of co-occurring final particles, the atypical imperative usage, and so forth. However, there are many issues that have not been discussed here. In particular, among the atypical usages of NODA shown in dialogue, we could not mention the use of NODA that realizes the meaning of “admiration” and “emphasis”. These topics are left for future work.
