국문 초록

장시 「바다와 하늘」에서 시작하는 박경리 시의 중심에는 부정적 타자에 대한 맞섬의 정신, 자유의 지향성, 서사성이 자리 잡고 있다. 이 맞섬의 정신은 타자의 부정성뿐만 아니라 시인 자신의 부정성까지 문제 삼는 준엄하고 철저한 대결과 부정의 정신이다. 이 같은 부정의 정신을 지닌 강한 자아는 스스로 소외됨을 나아가 선택한다. 이 적극적, 주체적 소외의 선택은 자유를 향한 끝없는 떠남인바, 이 자유의 지향성이 박경리 시를 꿰고 있다. 이 자유의 지향성은 박경리의 초인론에 나오는, 선악의 규범을 넘어선 초인의 정신과 깊이 관련된 것이다. 서사성은 박경리 시의 대표적인 특성의 하나인데, 유고시집에 많이 실린 인물 회상시에서 특히 뚜렷이 나타난다. 서정시와는 달리 자아와 세계의 갈등을 그 중심에 품고 있으며, 인물의 말과 행동을 엮어 그 성격을 드러내는 시적 화자는 소설의 서술자와 같은 역할을 한다.

영문 초록

At the center of Park Kyung-ri s poem, which begins with the poem “Sea and Sky,” lies the spirit of confrontation with negative hitters, the orientation of freedom, and the narrative. This spirit of confrontation is the spirit of stern and thorough confrontation and denial that takes issue with not only the negativity of the other but also the negativity of the poet himself. A strong ego with such a spirit of denial goes beyond alienation. This choice of active and self-reliant alienation is an endless departure for freedom, and this direction of freedom has Park Kyung-ri s poetry. This freedom orientation is deeply related to the spirit of a superman who has gone beyond the norms of good and evil in Park s superhuman theory. Narrativity is one of the representative characteristics of Park Kyung-ri s poems, which is particularly evident in the memoirs of figures that are often published in the collection of historical poems. Unlike lyric poetry, the conflict between self and the world is at the center of it, and the poetic speaker, who reveals his character by weaving the words and actions of the characters, plays the same role as the narrator of the novel.
