국문 초록

4차 산업혁명이 급격히 도래하고 창의성이 강조되면서 미래사회를 대비한 인재양성에 대한 논의가 그 어느 때보다 활발하다. 한국의 지식재산 창출에 중요한 역할을 담당해 온 특허청과 한국발명진흥회는 자신만의 독창적인 지식재산(Intellectual Property)을 기반으로 사회에 기여할 수 있는 인재를 양성하기 위하여 2009년부터 카이스트와 포스텍에 차세대 영재기업인 교육원을 설립하고 관련 프로그램을 시행해 왔다. 이 프로그램의 목적은 발명영재로서 타고난 잠재력을 보이는 학생을 선발하고, 그 재능을 체계적으로 개발하여 특허 출원과 기술 기반 창업 등을 통해 부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 역량을 갖춘 미래형 인재를 양성하는 것이다. 이 프로그램을 기반으로 이러한 역량을 키우는 것은 소수의 학생들뿐만 아니라 전국의 다른 (발명)영재들에게도 필요하다는 정책적 판단아래 일선 학교 현장에 적용할 수 있도록 개발된 프로그램이 바로 『미래의 발명 CEO 탐색』이다. 이 연구에서는 『미래의 발명 CEO 탐색』프로그램을 소개하고, 이 프로그램의 일선 학교 시범적용에 참여한 교사 및 학생들의 프로그램 적용 관련 인식을 설문지, 수업관찰 분석, 인터뷰의 방법을 활용하여 심층 분석한 결과를 제시하고자 한다. 더불어 이들 결과를 통해 향후 미래사회 대비 창의인재 양성을 위한 새로운 교육 프로그램이 학교 현장에 적용될 경우 무엇을 고려해야 하는지 그 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

With the fourth Industrial Revolution approaching rapidly and creativity being emphasized, the discussion of raising talented students to prepare for the future has been more active than ever before. The Intellectual Property Office and the Korean Invention Promotion Association, associations that have played important roles in promoting intellectual property in Korea have founded the next generation entrepreneur education institution in KAIST and POSTECH and implemented associated programs to raise talented students that can contribute to society based on creative intellectual properties. The purpose of these programs is to select gifted students in invention with innate talent and to develop their talent systematically, in order to nurture futuristic talented individuals with the competency to produce value with intellectual property or create a technology-based company. The future CEO programs are programs that were made to be applied in schools, under the evaluation that this competency is necessary for other gifted students in invention nationwide as well as students participating in the next generation entrepreneur programs. This study tries to introduce the future CEO programs and show the results of analyzing these classes through methods such as observation, interviews, and questionnaires to show what perceptions of teachers and students that participated in these programs were like when these programs were applied in school fields. Also, this study intends to show the implications regarding what we should consider when new programs are applied in school field through these results.
