신경숙 소설의 문학치료학 관점의 적용 가능성 고찰

국문 초록

문학치료(학)은 대중들에게 보다 실용적이고 유용한 매개의 하나로서 치유적 기능과 도밀접하게 관련되고있다. 이는현대인들이 각종정신적인 질환(혹은 질병)에시달리고있는 추세와도 무관할 수 없을 터, 문학치료학은 학문적인 차원에서 이러한 접근의 필요성에서 요청된 것이기도 하다. 문학치료의 출발은 정상적인심리상태를지니지 못한 사람을 문학작품을 통하여 정상적인심리상태로 돌려놓고자하는 일종의 심리치료에서 시작하였다. 각각의 문학작품은 작가의 관점에서 보면, 개인적 차원이나 사회적 맥락안에서 늘부딪히게 되는도덕적갈등, 아름다움과 진실에 대한 갈망, 혼란스러운 경험세계에 질서를 부여하여 삶의 욕망을 찾고자하는 욕망의 상상적 표현이다. 동시에 작가와 독자 모두에게 인간으로서 삶의 기쁨과 고민을 다시경험하고, 시야를넓히며, 자유를찾고, 삶의의미를체험할수있는상상적언어의공간이기도 하다. 이런 일련의 과정을 통해 과거의 상처는 치유되고 건강하고 의미있는 삶을 추구하는 모습을 보여준다. 요컨대, 문학치료의 궁극적인 지향점은 건강한 자기서사를 확립하는일이며, 이러한일은 누락된 자기서사를 보충하고 미약한자기서사를 강화하여 분열되어갈등하고 있는자기서사를 통합함으로써 이루어지는것이다. 특히현대소설은오늘을 살아가는 현대인과 유사한 상황에서, 그리고 유사한 정서적 맥락에서의 대리 체험을 가능하게 한다는 점에서 공감의 정서를 획득하는 데 유용한 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 이러한맥락에서이글은현대소설의 문학치료학적관점의 적용가능성을 모색하는 단계에서 출발하고 있다. 특히 신경숙의 소설집 『딸기밭』에수록된 소설을 초점으로 문학치료학 텍스트로서의 적용 가능성과 치유 과정을 검토할 것이다.

영문 초록

Literary therapy is one of practical medium which is connected to healing for public. It is related to the phenomena that contemporary people usually get many mental diseases. So, It is necessary to focus on Literary therapy in academic level from various angels. Literary therapy is a kind of psychotherapy in a sense that it intends to help people out of normal state of mind regain normal mentality through literary works. In author’s view, each literature works are imaginary expression of desire to find a desire to impose order on confusing universe, a eager for beauty and truth and a mental conflict in personal, social ground. At the same time, for authors and readers, each literature works are space of imaginary language to experience a meaning of life, to find liberty, to widen vision, to experience pleasure and worry of life as human. In this process, old wounds are healed and healthy humanlike life could be founded. In short, Literary therapy is to build up healthy self-narrative. This things could be founded by supplementing demaged self-narrative, intensifying weak selfnarrative and integrating splited self-narrative. Especially, modern novels could be used to sympathize peoples by vicarious experience in modern human life. In this vein, this letter is to seek possibility of literary therapy of modern novel. Especially, in literary therapy it is important for selecting test. So this work would choose Shin, Kyung- kyung- sook’s novel 『Strawberry Field(Ddalgi Bat)』as analysis text
